When an item is not found, staff help locate it if it is in stock. All items are arranged in a systematic order that has remained the same since the first shopping, making it easy to locate needed items. The store offers a large inventory of fresh produce, spices, snacks, frozen food and household essentials. It is clean, neat, organized and the staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable and the store is convenient for authentic Indian ingredients without driving far. Customers can usually find exactly what they need. If there are price cuts, the cashier must be told; otherwise full price is charged. New Bombay Grocers also stocks idols of Ganesha and other items from Patel brothers, Patel and Pandey. The two locations are praised as the cleanest Indian grocery in Southeast Michigan in the past 30 years, with regular restock and personal service. It is a shop for Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi groceries.
