Can get super busy especially around Christian high holidays amd and US holidays associated with grilling and meats(lots of sausages.. I mean lots). Excellent Polish foods.. Theyneven have the super hot horseradish i like.. Just like I rember from Poland(put hair on your chest.. or more accurately remove everything from your sinuses... Thats how you know it's good).     “The store is very convenient but there should be carts in the parking lot otherwise people get asthma while putting away there carts for 25 cents. Take away store swap no alcohol, junk food, chips like pork rinds, cheese puffs. Or snickers ice cream. An apple a day and drinking aqua or water. Keeps you from increased medical bills and excellent health. Store reorganize for health of the people. Fresh produce that doesn’t go to waste.”

They have these really good Madeleine cakes, once in a while I get those and for the Mexican chips..other than that, I avoid to save my money. They have these bags of flaxseed for about $4, great for yogurt and it lasts a long time. They also now offer: Bake yourself options where you can bake your own croissants and cookies with prepped dough, have to try that. Also, they have a lot of gourmet products that are not sold in regular grocery stores. It's a bit like trader joes but even more selections. If I had the money I would always shop here, so nice.”

I work next-door at The Tile Shop, and go in there all the time for lunch and snacks. Their produce is significantly better than something you get at Kroger or Meijer or target.”

    “I have been shopping at New Bombay Grocers for the past 25 years. Previously, it used to be on Ford Road in Canton and in around 2018, it was shifted to a bigger building on Canton Center Road. Almost a year ago, a new branch was opened in Troy Michigan. The owner , his family and the working staff are efficient and treat the shoppers with respect. When we go to shop there and if we do not find that item, the staff help the customer in locating the item, if it is in stock. All the items in the shop are arranged in a systematic order and they have been maintaining the items location the same way from the time I started shopping here. This makes it easy for the customers to locate the items they need. I would recommend this shop for any Indian Groceries.”

    “I have been shopping this grocery for several decades and have been mostly quite satisfied with the availability of the products. I have been very satisfied with the service with one small exception ~ which went away decades ago so, no issue. One day I walked in and saw not the usual proprietor, but his son! I had not seen him since he could barely see over the counter, and there he was...running the grocery! I was just so happy and proud for him. There he was, such a fine young man. This is by far the best Middle Eastern grocery apart from Dearborn. Along with Berry and Sons Meats, (where I had been shopping since it was Berry's Meats at 16 Mile and Dequinder in the 1980s) I have been SO pleased with my shopping experience! Thank you so very much for everything!!”

    “I’ve been using this Kroger Pharmacy since I retired in 2019. They are very helpful and have great communication with the patient (via text, email, etc) which is super convenient. One person who consistently stands out is Bri. She always greets me with a smile and is so good at what she does. She also took the time today to efficiently fix a glitch that was causing me to receive texts saying my insurance was not working. Then, today, after I mentioned I had plenty of medication on hand, she unenrolled me in auto refills with ease. You’re the best Bri and I appreciate you and your efforts.”

While it can't escape the middlebrow nature driven by corporate (would that Wegmans would venture here...), it does well given that.”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
