“This is a great grocery store and deli. I go there for the massive selection of European food stuffs and baked goods made in the store. Warm breads, pastries, filled donuts and cakes. Real baking professionals. And the selection of pickles, seasonings and specialty grains. Need spelt and semolina? Worth the trip!”
“Very pricey, although there are some things that are actually cheaper than regular stores. They have these really good Madeleine cakes, once in a while I get those and for the Mexican chips..other than that, I avoid to save my money.
They have these bags of flaxseed for about $4, great for yogurt and it lasts a long time. They also now offer: Bake yourself options where you can bake your own croissants and cookies with prepped dough, have to try that.
Also, they have a lot of gourmet products that are not sold in regular grocery stores. It's a bit like trader joes but even more selections. If I had the money I would always shop here, so nice.”

“I have been shopping at New Bombay Grocers for the past 25 years. Previously, it used to be on Ford Road in Canton and in around 2018, it was shifted to a bigger building on Canton Center Road. Almost a year ago, a new branch was opened in Troy Michigan. The owner , his family and the working staff are efficient and treat the shoppers with respect. When we go to shop there and if we do not find that item, the staff help the customer in locating the item, if it is in stock. All the items in the shop are arranged in a systematic order and they have been maintaining the items location the same way from the time I started shopping here. This makes it easy for the customers to locate the items they need.
I would recommend this shop for any Indian Groceries.”

They are accommodating and kind, and during this pandemic with everything in short supply they were completely slammed but still able to get my maintenance prescription filled when they said they would. “I have been shopping this grocery for several decades and have been mostly quite satisfied with the availability of the products. I have been very satisfied with the service with one small exception ~ which went away decades ago so, no issue. One day I walked in and saw not the usual proprietor, but his son! I had not seen him since he could barely see over the counter, and there he was...running the grocery! I was just so happy and proud for him. There he was, such a fine young man. This is by far the best Middle Eastern grocery apart from Dearborn. Along with Berry and Sons Meats, (where I had been shopping since it was Berry's Meats at 16 Mile and Dequinder in the 1980s) I have been SO pleased with my shopping experience! Thank you so very much for everything!!”

“Much better than most Walmarts. More organized and Greeters here actually Greet you. Not look at u like they're upset u came bc now they have to open their mouths and SPEAK. Roseville's location is littered w/nothing but Eastside Detroit customers bc Walmart refuses to add a location there, and Roseville police precense is needed ALL day for random retail frauders etc, and half the makeup/skin care is locked up so I have to wait for someone who has a key to show up to open it up/check me out separately bc I cant walk away without immediately paying(it's that bad). Sorry but Birmingham is a totally different atmosphere...more relaxed and trusting. Fraud is everywhere, but this location has far less, according to the lowered security etc. I will return whenever in this area! Just more pleasant....”
