Sur La Table is a well-known store that specializes in kitchenware and cooking classes. Established in 1972 in Seattle's Pike Place Market, it aims to make good food, share it, and encourage people to gather often. The store offers top kitchen brands and hands-on classes suitable for all skill levels, fostering happiness through cooking and sharing meals. Customers appreciate the variety of classes, such as French macarons and croissants, often led by knowledgeable and friendly chefs. Many reviews highlight the personalized and engaging nature of these classes, with some experiences being so exclusive they become private sessions. The instructors are praised for their warmth, expertise, and encouragement, making learning fun and memorable for participants. While the store is appreciated for its quality and the enjoyable classes, some customers find the prices high, especially for kitchen tools and accessories. There is a desire for more affordable options and snacks, as well as shorter or less expensive class options. Despite this, visitors value the opportunity to learn new skills, improve their cooking, and have a good time with family and friends. Overall, Sur La Table is seen as a resource for those passionate about cooking, seeking to create happiness through shared meals and culinary experiences.

Attended a class at Sur La table at Somerset. Class instructor was Carli. She was amazing, so prepared and informative. I’m planning on attending another class soon. I also took advantage of the in store discount (a plus).

Chef Olivia provided an exceptional experience during the French macaron class. My friends and I will be back soon for the croissant class!
Hopefully the ovens get calibrated or updated sooner than later as some of the cooking temps and times were tricky for the macarons.
