I don’t typically stop at this gas station often, but when I’m in the area for real estate business, it’s always my go-to stop. The staff is super friendly, the place is always clean, and the restroom facilities are well-maintained—which is a huge plus!
They offer hot food options if you’re in the mood for a quick bite, but overall, it’s just a simple, hassle-free stop that makes getting in and out easy. No frills, no fuss—just great service and a clean environment, which is all you really need sometimes. Definitely worth a stop if you’re passing through!”
“What a trip down memory lane... I used to come here all the time. Still do from time to time, when I'm in the area, hanging out with what little I still have here in terms of friends. Unfortunately, since school, I've kinda grown apart from the few remaining friends I had, and.... I fear shortly, the number will hit 0. Sam has always been such a great person, the other side who works here though, in the 13ish years I've known him, he's always been a pain in the butt. It's not that I wanna see him go, in fact, seeing him here is perfect, really preserves Akron as my ideal home, but he's just such a pest to me....”
“Akron, Michigan, in the "thumb"! Cal Prime Pump Sales & Service did an OUTSTANDING job at my house back in March 2021. I had zero water pressure, had no idea what to do. Started calling around, and repeatedly, people were recommending I call Cal Prime, so I did. He replaced my well pump, new hoses, the pressure tank, and a few other things. Did a fantastic job!!!! Highly recommend!!! A+”

“Fast and friendly service! Well stocked with basic needs! Excellent quality gas! Has rec fuel for boats, atv's etc and propane! Also has a bait shop and a restaurant! Love it!!!!”

“Our propane tank was so dirty, covered in moss and looked like it belonged at an abandoned house. We came home from vacation one day and discovered they had come out and repainted it, plus did some other necessary maintenance. For a minute we thought it was a whole new tank because they left zero trace of the work minus the spiffy new paint. The drivers are great and no complaints about the office staff.”
“The customer service is pretty good, and at least some of the employees have a sense of humor. But most of all, they have E85! I was so excited to see this station reopen with E85... not to mention they price it well. I always make sure to get my E85 here whenever I'm in the thumb (which is at least once a month). I just wish they had some (E85 stores) closer to me in Lansing.”
