“We love B & G it's one of our favorite window shopping ? stores lol but they also have really good deals on lots of different things but one of my go to there are their socks their gloves and just recently I've been buying my husband's body wash from there he uses Old spice (bear glove) and it's pretty expensive at regular stores but at B & G it's $4.99 for a big one (24 oz).”

“I stopped by Dollar General today and was genuinely impressed. The store was clean, well-organized, and the shelves were fully stocked. What really stood out was the woman working today she was friendly, greeted me with a smile, and was incredibly helpful throughout my visit. “Accidentally just went in a few min before close. Having worked in the public service industry before, I realize how annoying it can be so offered to go elsewhere if they already had the register closed up. The staff tonight was MORE than welcoming and didn’t put up a fuss at all. Even carried my bag of ice out to the car for me! Thank you so much to the staff who was on tonight!!! You made my night that much more convenient!!”
“This store is perfect for that last minute idem that you need. There's a nice selection of products that are smaller and cheaper than big box. And it's right down the street from where I live. Bonus!!Seasonal stuff rotation with the season. And new stuff all the time. Always a quick store to stop at sometimes faster than gas station.”
“I'm adding this review to the Portage Ave. store. Not very often do you go into a DG and have not one but all the staff great you and ask if you need help. The people working Saturday January 6th, day shift around 12:-1pm were all so helpful. The store was nice, clean and well stocked. Also something you don't see often at a DG. I am sure this company doesn't have great reviews but I wanted to give credit where credit was due. I have another DG that is closer to me, but from now on I will only go to this one. Management should be very happy with their staff and give them some kudos.”
