“Gilda's Club is such an awesome resource to have in Grand Rapids. The offer support groups for grief related instances. They also have many unique workshops available for people of all ages. I have been attending their young adult grief support group for around 5 months now and I really enjoy it. It's extremely helpful to connect with others going through similar situations to you. Their staff is so kind and knowledgeable and I have met some awesome people here! They offer suppers on the same day that they hold support groups that are either cooked by their volunteers or donated from outside groups/people and this has been a great resource as well. Their clubhouse/grounds is amazing! Such an awesome space and I feel lucky that our local chapter has this location and building.”

“I honestly enjoy working for this company. I feel a complete life purpose being fulfilled by helping others. To add I really enjoy telling people what I do for a living. I am incredibly proud of it. What an accomplishment it is to help another person learn to walk, or gain independence. What a value I hold contributing to families who need support. This is the type of job that you love to work everyday. Or at least that has been my personal experience.”

“Second hand shopping. Every place seems to have something they specialize in. This place seems to have a lot of furniture in the outback section. The main store has more of the housewares, clothing, etc. that you see at all second hand shops. Prices are reasonable.”

“I forgot to take a photo, but when I just went there today, they were closed and the sign on the side door said that as of April 14, 2023, they are closed until further notice. Was required to give a rating to post this… didn’t want to give them a bad rating, so I gave them 5 stars.”

“Nice space for a Surprise Birthday party that we attended. The elderly attendees and disabled had a very hard time climbing the stairs to get up to the party space upstairs. They have a lower space and I would choose that instead next time. There is no lot for Parking and it was challenging to find a spot but we did finally find a spot on street.”

“Great food and caring people! The nicest people volunteer and work here. They truly care about helping people here and it shows. There are also times when they give out necessities like socks, gloves or mittens, and winter hats right there in the dining room!It is a very awesome place that is very helpful to people who are down on their luck. You will get a wonderful warm meal at the very least. Sometimes, they even give out a second meal to take with you. Not every day, but once in a while. It definitely helps people who don't have a lot of money or food stamps, to get a good healthy meal in their belly at least once a day.God bless you all for your kindness and caring hearts! ❤️❣️❤️❣️❤️❣️❤️❣️❤️❣️❤️”

“This is a decent place. The staff are somewhat friendly because it's their job but they always help out, every event they have is just outstanding. One thing they improve is who they rent tables, chairs and dishes from. But other than that its a beautiful building and the views of the city are outstanding.”

“I visited the Wealthy Theater during the Latin American film festival. I'm so pleased with having found this event ( Thanks Facebook)! I was delighted to see that the original pieces of the theater were restored and kept intact. The architecture and design of the theater really makes a movie night all the more special. Their concession stand is also up to date. My daughter and I eat lots of pop corn, and I have to admit, they have the best popcorn I've even had at a theater lol. They even had bunch a crunch, yes! There are lots of cultural events available which peeks my interest the most. If you're looking to enjoy some independent films and support local film makers, please visit the Wealthy Theater. It's great to see the city of Grand Rapids preserving and embracing arts and culture!”
