“Great people and attitudes .............only problem needs attention is anything needing to be done requires them to run a credit check and that hurts your credit score......I'm not sure if they understand that or do they really even care. You open an account credit hit, apply for a loan credit hit, apply for credit card, credit hit. ....Once you are in their ecosystem they should have enough information on you to make great decisions. IE. AMERICAN EXPRESS, once you are in, you never have to worry about them doing a hard inquiry on your credit. Ijs”

“I am a lifelong member being the child of a Ma Bell employee. As an adult I can confidently say i have found ACU to be top notch h. I’m on my third mortgage with them, have had multiple auto loans, personal loans, financed a student loan many years ago, started my own kids and grandkids accounts there due to their flawless work, friendly but professional attitudes. It seems as if there process always runs smooth, no “problems” or issues like I’ve heard others suffer with at their financial institutions. (I am so sorry if I mis-spelled your name) - My father passed away last November, and my grandmother recently a few months ago... I have been catching up payments on things and she was so warm towards me the last time. Today I went in again with another teller and Anita saw me, remembered me from the last time, asked how I was, and when the hold times on the phone were taking longer than expected, she threw on an extra headset to help even though she was not the original person helping me with today's visit.
This kind of sincere effort truly deserves to be recognized in every manner, because it is this decency that seems to be more elusive to find each day. Anita, thank you - thank you to everyone at the LMCU 44th street location. I waited for about 45mins there while on hold (to no fault of anyone) waiting for another department authorization (busy Saturday) but never realized the time until I got back to my car because of how much I was noticing the staff's efforts to try and make my experience smoother and quicker - in particular Anita's.

“I recently financed a new-to-me vehicle and chose NCACU because they offered a better interest rate than another lender I was considering. My review is based on my first three weeks with them, and so far, I’ve been impressed with the level of service.
Early on, I visited a local branch to follow up on my account since I hadn’t yet received my welcome paperwork. The teller was friendly and took the time to make sure I could access all the features of the app and log in without any issues. His coworker stepped in to assist as needed, which showed great teamwork and dedication to customer support.
The next day, my welcome materials arrived in the mail, and within just a few hours, I received a personal phone call to confirm I had everything I needed and to answer any questions.
Although my experience with NCACU is still fairly new, I’m very pleased with their excellent customer service and commitment to offering competitive rates.”
“I bought a new car January of 2023 and 6 months later I had the credit union match the rate that was awesome so I asked about putting a special insurance to make the payments if I were to get sick or something else , this insurance was used last October, November,December, and January it was great I did not have to worry about anything they covered so well they even covered more I just told them to make the payment on the principal of the car loan that brought the payment down alot . I will definitely get this insurance again if and when I buy another car. I personally want to thank Sara for helping me along on this long journey to recovery ,if you don't think you will need it ,don't be to sure it might happen to you ,I lost a Kidney and had to do a double operation, Sincerely Christopher Lange”

Megan and Zach took excellent care of me and did not make me feel rushed despite the fact that I arrived just minutes before closing. What an excellent branch. And so close to home!”
“I had a problem with a check that was stolen, washed and rewritten to an unknown person and the amount had been changed from $20 to $500 and it had been a mobile deposit. I went into the credit Union and they were all very helpful. My checking acct was closed and a new one opened. We had to notify Social Security to give them the new acct number. Hopefully, they can find out who did this. Very pleased working with Sue and Krista.”

However, I want to bring the attention to one individual in particular, Grace Bechler a member Service Representative at the Lake Michigan location. Grace went above and beyond and provided excellent customer service. My husband an I were in need of two years worth of documents from LMCU. Without hesitation or making us feel like we had placed a burden on her, Grace took excellent care of us and was very detailed in organizing the documents. Let's face it covid created a lote of credit issues for many of us. I did have a clear title to my truck, in hand to use as collateral.
