“The best credit union in town of grand rapids!! Been with them for about 5 years now. And compared to other so called credit unions with their high monthly fees and overdraft charges. Adventure credit union is not like them Adventure credit union is far more better. And only costs $5.00 to open a account ! You will not find that in other credit unions in grand rapids”

Even though we rarely need to go into a branch to handle routine banking tasks anymore, it is good to know that people are still taken care of when you need it. I highly recommend DFCU Financial. They take care of their customers, give cash back annually, and offer great rates for loans, mortgages, and CD's.”
“I took out a car loan through LMCU in August and they have been so friendly and so helpful throughout the whole process. I had one small hiccup which they handled beautifully and it has been smooth sailing since. I was recently a recipient of their Act of Kindness Program and I am so so grateful. It's amazing they have the ability to help out like that. As a student money has been a little short lately and things like that really make a huge difference. “I had a problem with a check that was stolen, washed and rewritten to an unknown person and the amount had been changed from $20 to $500 and it had been a mobile deposit. I went into the credit Union and they were all very helpful. My checking acct was closed and a new one opened. We had to notify Social Security to give them the new acct number. Hopefully, they can find out who did this. Very pleased working with Sue and Krista.”

“Kathleen, the loan officer at this location, and Janel, the branch manager, are real gems.
Kathleen has helped me immensely with financial counseling, and I am at a point where I feel confident in my finances. In ways I did not even think of, Kathleen was able to condense problems during a harder time, and get me to this point.
Janel has always been helpful in the interactions I’ve had with her throughout the years. I have applied for two loans with her, one during harder times, and one more recent. Both times were smooth and easy: likewise my experiences with Kathleen.
While I love this location, I do wish there was a location closer to the original branch I joined at (Ann St). I would definitely visit this branch for my financial counseling and loan needs, due to relationship. But I would love something closer to the original Ann St. Branch. Or at least becoming apart of the co-op network of shared branches!”

“I want to let everyone know about the amazing service and genuine kindness and willingness to help from the staff... in particular, Anita. (I am so sorry if I mis-spelled your name) - My father passed away last November, and my grandmother recently a few months ago... I have been catching up payments on things and she was so warm towards me the last time. Today I went in again with another teller and Anita saw me, remembered me from the last time, asked how I was, and when the hold times on the phone were taking longer than expected, she threw on an extra headset to help even though she was not the original person helping me with today's visit.
This kind of sincere effort truly deserves to be recognized in every manner, because it is this decency that seems to be more elusive to find each day. Anita, thank you - thank you to everyone at the LMCU 44th street location. I waited for about 45mins there while on hold (to no fault of anyone) waiting for another department authorization (busy Saturday) but never realized the time until I got back to my car because of how much I was noticing the staff's efforts to try and make my experience smoother and quicker - in particular Anita's.
Anita, thank you for the compassionate energy, which I assure you I could feel and I appreciate how genuine it is.”

“friendly easy to work with love the website updates and ease of access to my services. happy to be a member for life.. if you genuinely care about building yourself up with good hassle free and for the most part easy account minimums and low costs i see no reason why aac cu isnt a easy choice. from credit builders to let it grow cd accounts with great interest rates. to apple pay and them being part of coop banking and the free extend banking. oh and did i mention my rewards checking lol...grand rapids is home and i have two great local branches. heather pooling from e services is amazing! she's knowledgeable and makes sure you always get all your questions answered”

The young man seemed to have difficulty understanding my request. After I repeated myself three times, I decided to go inside. A young lady named Courtney assisted me promptly and was very friendly. Courtney exemplifies good customer service. We'll done, Courtney!!!”

“I've been a member for a couple of years now. Yesterday I called to inquire about a loan. I was skeptical because of my past credit history. Let's face it covid created a lote of credit issues for many of us. I did have a clear title to my truck, in hand to use as collateral. Long story short, not only did they help me achieve what I was trying to accomplish, but also helped me, get the last 3 things on my credit paid off, that's been haunting me. So thsnk you bloom.The main reason for my review is a young lady by the name of Alexxus. I'm blown away with her passion for costumer service. You can tell when someone is just putting in there time and collecting a check. Not this young lady! She has a genuine care to help you. Very personal but keeping professional boundaries. I'm very pleased to see that not all of our younger generation has lost... respect, morals and values, how about just, good ole common sense. I can't say enough how much I enjoyed and appreciate my experience with Alexxus. Even if bloom wouldn't have been able to help me, I still would have written this review. Everyone wants to focus on the negative, that in many cases the good goes unheard. I personally would give this young lady 10 stars. If you have loan needs and are not unreasonable with what you are trying to accomplish, I high recommend calling and asking for Alexxus.Alexxus, thank you so much!
