“I have been going to the Goodwill in Standale since it opened. I enjoy going there. The managers are very nice and knowledgeable. The workers are very nice and willing to help. Many a time I have asked what they think of a shirt, skirt, and even pictures for my walls. A few days ago I was there shopping and found a very nice tray with a bird on it. I was done shopping. I was towards the back of the store and the young lady that was on register was handed up front from the back . I told her I was ready to check out and she said she would met me at the register. She walked up to her register a little faster than me. As I was going up to the register a lady walked in the door and quickly to the register. I was a few steps from her with the cart in front of me. The young lady at the register politely explained to her that I was next in line. The lady in a not so friendly voice said she was there first. Then she wanted to know how the register worker know I was next. Before the worker could explain that she and I walked from that back to the front after me saying I was ready to go to check me out, the lady forcefully stated that she wanted to talk to a Manger. Myself and the worker both said to her that the worker would be happy to help her. I explained to the lady that I had plenty of time and she could go ahead. I had one thing so I didn't mind waiting. The worker started to help her and the lady said no and she wanted the manager and she could help me. The worker called for the manager and checked me out. It took maybe 2 minutes to check me out. I am sorry that I did not stay to tell my side of what happened. I shop many Goodwill stores all over Michigan and still my GO TO STORE is the Goodwill in Standale.”

“Every time I go in, everyone is super friendly. The customer service at this location is awesome. I also always leave with something and they are always very fairly priced. I love being a cheapskate in Grandville!”

“Fun thrift store with lots to choose from! Lots and lots of clothing and shoes for the family, plus sizes included, and you can even find a whole section with medical scrubs for those who work in health care. Tons of vintage clothing, dresses, boutique style items, and even more are available. Jewelry, books, small electronics, greeting cards, CDs, household and kitchen items, linens and more round out the offerings. There are some great sales and the store sometimes even has a party feel to it - in a great way as old and new customers come in and are welcomed.”

“Pathway repeatedly went out of there way to understand and meet my needs Jaydin, Trevor, and Tylor did all they could to carefully pack, move, and unpack all furniture. Margie did detailed packing and unpacking and was so pleasant we regard her as a long term personal friend. Everyone adapted to the changes imposed by my new residence. I can’t think of any way they could improve on my moving experience.”

“Great thrift store. Beautiful workers they welcomed and all had amazing attitudes and better than most places that have snippy workers and decide to yell at their customers.”

“I love the Northridge store the best. Only reason gave a 4 star is because it's Saturday and you are closed. Would like your website to get the hrs on there.”

“I walked into this store in a bit of a grumpy mood today. One of the employees kept talking to my husband and I, and every time I tried on clothes she told me how beautiful I looked! She made my day today!”

“The store was bigger than I expected and had a pretty fair selection of clothes. We were greeted nicely by the workers when we entered. Overall a good thrift store :)”

“I am always looking for less “corporate” thrift stores. This place is a gem where you can actually get a good deal, find more unique selection than what you see at goodwill if your into that kind of thing like me, and support a local business. Very well organized, I did get a bit confused about some of the half off this color sticker but some were also marked to the discounted price with a similar color sticker. Small constructive criticism. I think it would be easy to miss but there is also a basement section too. Much bigger than it looks on the outside.”

“I stopped by the 4 Mile Goodwill on January 5 in a snow advisory. There were only 2 cars in the parking lot. It was a nice leisurely treasure hunting day! All the employees were rearranging things and having a nice work day. I imagine it is nice to have those days when it is not that busy to prepare for the busy days.”

“Never know what you are going to find. Can always find clothes and decorations for each season. Once in a blue moon you can find those "antique roadshow" gems :)”

“Clean, well priced, and friendly staff. I'd rather have my money go to businesses like this than a larger donation based organization! The mix of vintage items is a big draw as well as their displays. The toddler and older kid clothing/shoes is priced exceptionally well! Goodwill and Mel Trotters pricing is often over $5/item.”

“This is a nice Goodwill. I drove here several times from a distance and only found one item recently. Still, at least there was a variety of hard goods, not badly priced and I didn't fly in and out of the store. I stayed for a bit to consider some things. That's what a thrifter wants.”

“Great place to find bargains. They are having a clothing sale off their already low price. And unlike bigger thrift stores, I trust my money is going to help others and not going in the CEO bank account. I don't get to this part of town but when I do, I find treasures! I love thrifting especially at this location. If you are in the area, stop in”

“What makes this location one of the best is the employees. Numerous occasions, I've had to ask for help with an item or had them put some behind the register while I shop, etc, and every single person has been extremely warm and friendly. They have great attitudes and are happy to help out with whatever the need be, far exceeding typical great customer service standards, and it's such a welcomed pleasant experience each time I visit. Specifically today, Alyssa and Karina were working, and despite the store being a little busier for them with checking people out, they had smiles on their faces and handled what they had to do without ever getting frustrated or taking it out on the customer in some fashion. Alyssa was super helpful and did so without making me feel like a nuisance or feeling rushed. Karina and her worked great as a team to get all of us checked out while we all were conversing and laughing. It was a stress and anxiety free interaction and an especially enjoyable visit today because of these two employees. This location is one of my favorite goodwill stores because of the continued positive atmosphere that both Alyssa and Karina, along with all the other employees, constantly create here.”

“Renata is amazingly helpful and Gabe is always pleasant. The store is always clean and organized. When I asked Renata’s name so I could leave a review for her, all of the employees were singing her praises. She’s the manager here and apparently she’s adored by her employees. Super refreshing!”

“One of the few thrift stores around that still feels like a thrift store and not overpriced. Always well organized and love the $5 bag sales they have for clothes. Of course you will not always find something that is the reality of thrifting but I very rarely leave this location empty handed!”

“I accidentally found this outlet store. This store is full of everything that didn't sell in their local retail stores. You pay by weight for most items. I got a cart full for under $20. Next time I'm bringing a pair of gloves with me.”

“The employees are very helpful and quick to answer any questions. They are also very straightforward and informative when purchasing. Ex: they’ll let you know right off the bat when it comes to returns and their return policy.”

“This place is great and well organized. Staff are nice and friendly. I would give 5 stars but several occasions their card readers or credit card payment system either was down or did not accept mine and some customers cards but worked for the next customer . Lately I feel like being able to pay with a card is iffy, may or may not work. I don't ever have this issue with the store by my house. Please invest in updating payment software or card readers or Point of sale at this location to make sure they are always working. Shouldn't matter what bank at customer has.”
