“I just picked up a 2003 GMC Envoy that had been used for towing a landscaping companies lawn mowers around. Car is in great shape, engine runs great, low mileage so dropping a little $$$ into rebuilding the front end was a no brainer IF I found a trustworthy mechanic to do the job. I got 2-3 estimates before my landlord suggested Chris. My landlord is a classic car buff and has been working with Chris @ Thayer for over 20 years.The tip more than paid off as not only did Chris put a plan together get my car back on the road, he also fixed three other issues (radiator/brakes/fuel filter) for the price that others wanted to just fix the front end - parts, labor, all included.Chris even took the extra step to research how to fix the issue of the 'dead' instrument panel which is a common soldering joint problem with many of the GM's of the time (2003-2005) - FOR HALF the price I saw everywhere else.That's the next step in the plan, I have a new and hopefully life long mechanic I can trust and is also a very honest, polite, real person to work with.Go to Thayer and work with Chris!!!-AndyK”
