“Lots of interesting items to buy, from food to clothing to candles and everything in between! A pretty good selection of food items for lunch, as well. Lots of people, lots of dogs and overall a good day! We go every year!”

“Some nicest places to visit in Downtown Rochester are Cafe 316, Paul's restaurant, Chomps and Georgios Pizzaria. These restaurants have delicious food and and treat you like family!”

“Sometimes I have live music, other times it's just great to go shop, walk, eat and enjoy the fresh air. It's an amazing open-air shopping mall. Lots of great stores.”

“So far Zap Zone looks pretty cool for the kids to enjoy themselves. I have been to CSL Plasma and took advantage of their new donor rewards which pays out pretty well. I don’t know much about the rest of the places, but there seems to be quite a few empty stores, so it looks a little dead.”

“We frequent Gordon Food Service (GFS) the most, but also enjoy going to Take Sushi and the Rochester Grill, and on rare occasions need to use the coin laundry. Parking is plentiful and convenient. Exiting the parking lot to the east (left turn) can be challenging during rush hour and when the high school lets out, but there is a stoplight at Walton & Rochdale at the west end of the mall.”

“Unfortunately this business structure has cut down on their staff, but at the time I went was not really busy so that is understandable. They completely opened up the store and made it easier to navigate which section you want to go to. The pharmacy section has grown significantly too. They added more furniture and home goods, which to me made it look like a Marshalls or T.J Maxx.”

“I was here a week ago to eat dinner at Carraba's restaurant, my favorite restaurant, which I highly reccomend. I'm not familiar with the rest of the area off Schoennher Road just West of the Lakeside Mall.”

“Hallmark and CVS are there when you need them. Kroger is convenient, clean and well stocked. Kroger Gasoline is a good deal if you are using their fuel points - a $0.40 per gallon discount will typically get you to par with the Costco price. Watch out for cars speeding through the parking lot to get to the gas station!”

“I may have missed this shop if it weren't for the family member I was with, who knew it was there. It's "attached" to the fireplace in the middle of this wonderful outdoor shopping center. Small little shop, great brand, and friendly staff (I think owners, as they were the models on the outside of the building). We purchased a 313 t-shirt and a Detroit Life sweatshirt. The quality is fantastic, super soft, cozy, and will NOT shrink! I recommend laying your items flat or on a line to dry.”

“Used to be a place for savings on name brands. But like everywhere else. Getting pricey. Pay attention as some items are priced more than current retail elsewhere. Still some deals and unique items. But have to hunt fir them now.”

“I’ve done a ton of shopping at Evereve and every single time it’s been a great experience in store and with the items I get. They’re high quality people and care about making sure you find exactly what you’re looking for and more. Thank you Evereve!”

“This mall still has what we need here in Michigan. An indoor space to shop, walk, eat and spend time.Outdoor malls don't make sense here with our winters and not everyone likes to online shop for clothes then spend time making returns. Better to just spend an afternoon trying things on and looking at new things. The outdoor mall down the street that the stores left Lakeside for is now failing in many ways. They need to just come on back to Lakeside. New moms with strollers can walk around the mall as something to do and buy a little something here and there. Teenagers needing somewhere to go to hang away from their parents can get a pretzel and make TikTok's in the lounge areas. The right kinds of shops will generate more money. Watch what people are into. Please don't close the mall!”
