“Love going to this thrift store. Everything is laid out perfectly, there is rarely a mess of the fitting rooms and all of the staff is a delight to be around. I even used to volunteer here as well which was always a wonderful experience.”

“This is like a mini Greenfield Village. Charming & historic, but free. There's a little square with old buildings dotted around it, staged and furnished as they would have been when they were built (100 years ago).

Waterford was a rural area, that became part of suburban Detroit after being a place to enjoy a holiday vacation on the lakes in little cottages. Those cottages eventually became full time homes, as cars made it easier to drive longer distances. The Historic Society created a venue here that includes buildings from it's rural past and early times, from the later part of the 1800's through to the 1920's. A school house, church, shop, blacksmith, train and hardware store surround the square and make for a delightful few hours of exploration.

I made a bunch of 1 minute long videos to share here, but Google says they are too long and too large and I need more storage in their cloud before I can upload them to maps. So that's not going to happen. Why does Google make adding videos to reviews a painful experience? I don't know. Go and see this place for yourself, cause I can't share my videos.”

“I get my monthly prescriptions filled here and there is never an issue. Timely service and kind people. Even if they dont happen to have the full prescription, it get partials and never have to wait more than a day or two to get the rest. I dont do my prescription business anywhere else now and have reffered a few people to go here. Walgreens on telegraph and huron, eat your heart out. The only slight complaint I have is that the self harm box with narcan and drug test strips isnt always stocked.”

“Absolutely love this place the cashiers and staff are all so friendly and welcoming they go out of there way to make sure the customers come first.Great location its clean inside and honestly the best thrift store in the area cant wait to visit again”
