They have a full selection of alcoholic beverages and all the snacks you could ever want. Even their machine coffee is good. This is my go to when I'm in town for service, gas and goods. If you are a frequent Shopper make sure you are using your points before the end of every month. I have received up to 30 cents off of my gas before and I've been with Kroger for over 10 years”

“This Marathon at 6800 Highland Rd in Waterford is officially my go-to gas station from now on—and here’s why. Not only do they have eight spacious pumps for gas (so you’re not stuck waiting forever), but inside you’ll find a huge selection of refreshments—everything from cold drinks to snacks, and even those last-minute road trip essentials.
But what really made this place unforgettable was the employee named Omar. I ran out of gas literally two feet from the pump (classic me, thinking E means everlasting ?) and instead of giving me a hard time or making me buy an overpriced gas can, Omar went out of his way to help. We couldn’t push the car, so he helped me fill it using a water bottle just to get it started. Who does that these days?! A real down-to-earth, good human being—that’s who.
Omar’s kindness and willingness to help a stranger didn’t just get my car moving—it genuinely made my day. Now, no matter where I’m headed, I’ll be making a pit stop at this Marathon. It’s more than a gas station—it’s a place with good people and good vibes. ?⛽”
“Great place for vapes but be sure to check the dates of you get food or candy! Candy section was really dusty that should have scared me away but it didn't. I had to throw my overpriced caramello away. The chocolate was white and dry. Fountain pop might only be 99 cents but it was either watered down or not real coke!”

“Gas prices suck no matter where you go. Might as well go to the Friendly's place there is. Everyone is very friendly and awesome. Wasn't paying attention, put money into the vacuum cleaner and not into air compressor. Told the attendant it was my fault. I was completely fine with changing a dollar. He gave me my change back from the vacuum! That's awesome customer service. Plenty of lighting at night. Plenty of space to bring your trailer in or to park and grab something. The exit to Cass Lake Road has three lanes, there won't be any waiting to turn left on to and M59. Going north or south on Cass Lake Road there won't be any waiting. Go here instead of the Speedway that's 300 ft down the road. Gas prices are the same as Speedway. You don't have hundreds of people coming in and out and fighting traffic just to make a left at Speedway. They have all the popular items Speedway does at the same exact price. You're better off just coming here.”
“This is a brand new station (old one tore down), and they have added a nice liquor store as well as pizza and chicken with then fixings. Not just heated up and put out, I mean made on the spot. VERY good pizza, but next time trying the chicken. This might be their hot item. Huge pieces, golden fried perfect looking, looked so good. Beautiful station!”

Me and my wife were door dashing when we got an order for the restaurant part (krispy cruchy). My wife went inside, while I waited in the car. There was a homeless guy outside harassing people at the fuel pumps, including me. Yelling with his sign; I would be surprised but most businesses out here have this issue. The owner quickly addressed the situation and the homeless person was told that if he’s hungry there may be food at the end of the night for leftovers for him, but then the homeless person caused a greater scene, the owner professionally told him to stop harassing his customers and to leave the building and not come back. I think he handled it more generously than most of us would. This store is also clean, and I overall prefer it.

“Hey this Shell Gas Station is tiny but its a life saver. Super good prices compared to other nearby stations with only 2 or 3 in the Waterford Clarkston White Lake area being able to compete. Inside they have a surprising variety of products for the tiny size. Pumps usually work well and i love that they are open evem afternthe shops has closed so i can refill even super late after i get out of work. Ihave never had any issue when using a card. Ive also used cash as well. Both the morning young blonde attendant and the evening gentleman are always courtious with me and greet me so its a good place for me at least. Remember the energy you put out is reflected. Be safeLeveryone and may everyone have a Happy Thanksgiving even these long hour hard working Shell attendants. Thank you for your business in our neighborhood and i have seen it was recently renovated good job.”
“This Meijer gas station has some of the best employees I have ever met at a gas station. Every time my toddler and I enter the store we are greeted with huge smiles, and they always go above and beyond to make my toddler feel special. We have made some wonderful friends at this location and absolutely love seeing everyone when we come in. Such a great, hardworking group of employees.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional professionalism under completely unnecessary hostility
I witnessed an incident at this Speedway that deserves to be documented for the right reasons.
Ashley, the cashier working at the time, was subjected to unprovoked verbal harassment by an older male customer while she was simply doing her job. The customer placed more then a dozen individual Diet Pepsi bottles—loose, not in cases—directly on the counter, requiring her to ring up each item individually. Whether this was tied to a special or not, it already slowed the transaction.
What made it unacceptable was the way he treated her throughout the entire process. Every standard checkout question was met with yelling, hostility, and such disrespect.
Despite being spoken to aggressively, Ashley remained calm, polite, and professional. She even paused to apologize, despite having done absolutely nothing wrong, and she continued the transaction with composure. Then the man escalated the situation to the point where another customer who had just walked in the store felt compelled to step in and tell the man his behavior was rude and unnecessary and that he was holding up the line.
The customer got even more aggressive after being checked about his behavior then threatened Ashley by saying he would complain to management in an attempt to get her fired. Throughout all of this, Ashley never raised her voice, never reacted emotionally, and handled the situation far better than most people would under that level of pressure.
Customers like that man are the problem
My total respect to Ashley and all the staff at this speedway location. Non of them deserve to be treated with such disrespect.”

“Stopped in Sunoco to get gas on my way to work this morning. Pulled up to pump 8. Noticed there was a truck with a trailer that had jet skis on the other side of my pump. Walked to the store to pay cash, noticed there were 2 people standing at another pump, filling gas containers. And a truck at another pump, without anyone in it, not pumping gas.
Went in to pay, was told my pump had a card in it. I was confused, thinking someone forgot their card. The employee asked me to confirm the pump number. I explained where I was. We both look outside and now the female part of the older couple is standing behind my car, at my pump.
We walk outside and the employee tells the older guy that he's using the wrong pump. He immediately gets defensive and says his didn't work. She told him he should have come in and told her. I asked them why they didn't tell me they were using my pump. They both start yelling at me that they were there first and they didn't even see me pull up. That I should have seen them. I confirmed that I saw their vehicle but wouldn't have even given it a second thought that they weren't using their own pump.
At this time, the 2 people filling containers at the other pump start getting involved and yelling. ?? (mind you, they're taking up 4 pumps, using 2). The employee tried to de-escalate the situation, saying that yelling isn't accepted.
I decided to go to another station entirely as the older couple continued to yell. The man was yelling after the employee and the woman was yelling at me. I told her that had she been standing where she was now, I would have noticed they were using the pump. What an avoidable situation.
I think the employee did the best she could with angry, disrespectful, entitled customers. What a Saturday morning in waterford. I hope they're more courteous on the water than they were at the station.”

“Love this gas station. It's close and convenient for me and I would rather get my gas here when I'm in the area than anywhere else. Won't necessarily buy most of my grocery needs here but a snack here and there i absolutely will. Not to mention the fact that I have personally known Larry, the owner for my entire life (35years). He is a wonderful guy and always more than friendly to me and my family, but be aware some times he may be a little slow and have issues with his hands but bear with him because he has age related health issues. much better prices on gas than the station across the street and sticks to posted hours, unlike the shop across the street.
