Recently, my child received a gift card from a family friend, so she had the chance to use it at Speckles and Splatter, an art and pottery studio.As a family we went to do some pottery painting, and it was an absolute blast! The studio's vibrant and colorful atmosphere immediately put us at ease.My daughter, eagerly explored the various paints and brushes, experimenting with different techniques to create her own unique masterpiece. As a parent, it was heartwarming to see her confidence soar as she discovered her artistic talents.The studio's generous use of high-quality materials and tools allowed us to unleash our creativity without limitations. We had access to a wide range of glazes, paints, and brushes, enabling us to bring our artistic visions to life.The icing on the cake was the studio's kiln firing service. We simply left our painted pottery pieces with the staff, and they took care of the rest, ensuring a professional and flawless finish. The final products were simply stunning, and my daughter couldn't wait to display her creativity in our home.Overall, our experience at Speckles and Splatter was nothing short of exceptional. “I like this place a lot. My husband and I like to ride our bikes over here on warm days to enjoy the outside patio, have a beer, and watch some sprots (yes, I said sprots!) The beer menu is second to none. It's just HUGE. The food is standard bar food (meaning lots of fried things) with a few "healthier" options to pick from. I have never been disappointed by my meal whether it was a salad or their friend chicken sandwich or their tacos... The service is always VERY friendly however also very much on the slow side. I am not certain if this is the standard the bar wants (i.e. more of an Italian vibe where they leave you alone to enjoy) or if it's lack of staffing during busy times, but at the very least they are friendly! That would be my only suggestion for improvement with this business because everything else is great!”

“We really did enjoy the scene at the Joy Manor! We went there for dinner and to listen to a band. (We did NOT go to the actual Joy Manor that is like a banquet hall. We went into a separate building, which I think is referred to as Downstairs at the Joy Manor). The music was good and so was the food! The only issue I had, and hence 4 stars, is they don't give you a lot to eat. I was only eating the beef and asked for extra as I wasn't eating the chicken or a potato side dish and they were a bit stingy on the amount. But I do get it! Maybe if I accepted all the food options, I would have had a full plate :) But, for like 10 bucks, I will do it again! And the meal includes unlimited coffee, water, and pop! Oh, and a little desert to boot! The place is well laid out and the dance floor is nice! We will definitely going again! A couple other things: most of the people were an older crowd and a big plus for me is this: they serve dinner from 6-7 PM and at 7 the party/band starts! So, you can make it an early night! Yay!”

You can't beat the location, the food was great, and truly it was such a stunning location for a wedding celebration!”

Service cannot be matched and the steak was so good it had me reevaluating what I thought a good steak was. I am a mobile mixologist and did a party there it has a bar, a room for pictures, DJ booth, a full kitchen, a nice size dance floor, walk-in bathrooms and an awesome owner. Plenty of room and very very nice, professional and clean and there's plenty of parking outside.”

“I use to enjoy going to the Elks. Some of the players were LOUD and over talked the callers. Some of the callers were extremly slow in calling. The favoritism, ie. Ticket sellers going to select players repeatedly, instead of going thru all the hall for all people to purchase tickets. I will go once more, to determine if this is the norm. Too bad, as I stated, I use to enjoy their BINGO.”
