“This is my go to place for my clan. I breed Cavalier King Charles Spaniels here in Holland, MI, so there things we need! On one visit, I was stressed that the item I needed was out of stock. The team member helping me was great! She let me know I could just tell them what I needed to have each week. Puppy food! And they could always have a bag of my brand, Blue Buffalo puppy in the big, big bag, on hand! I appreciate a smaller store and great service. Thank you! Virginia Park Cavaliers”
“I like this store and the sales staff has always been very helpful. They sell lots of toys, pet clothings, different treats, etc., however, it can be pricy. A few years back I bought a unique food/water dish shaped in form of a bone which was not a high up stand like all others now on sale and unfortunately nobody sells these type anymore. One of our dog eats while laying down and this dish prevents him from dumping out his food onto the floor. Our dogs do love the crunchy, duck, deer and rabbit chews, which makes me return to the store, they must be very tasty!”
“Nice clean store with good dog wash area. If your dog is not a fan of other dogs, this dog wash is probably not for you since all three dog wash bays are in the same room. If you need a completely separate bay, you'll want to check out the Grand Haven store about 35 minutes north of this one. All supplies are included in the wash.Staff went above and beyond for us ... it was not the scheduled nail cutting day, but their team accommodated our request anyway since we were heading out of town with our dog the next morning. We made sure to tip the person well for the extra effort.The staff also allowed our dog to have the broken treat cookie they were not going to be able to sell. We bought several other dog supply items and were debating about the cookie, so they offered the other up. Very kind staff and we would come back.”
“I drive all the way here from Allegan every couple weeks for mice for my snake. Every employee I've ever asked questions has always been very knowledgeable, patient, and kind. I don't know who the employee was that was working today but I had never seen him before and was a little skeptical about asking him questions. I did anyway and he knew exactly how to re ssolve my issue. I'm thankful for VI pets of Holland and although it might be a drive, it's totally worth it. Thank you guys for all you do! Open up a shop in Allegan! ?”
“We signed up our golden retriever puppy for puppy school and it was a great 6-week experience! Julie was a great trainer that has a lot of patience and shares a lot of insight throughout the entire program. I can't thank her enough for helping us build a strong training foundation for our puppy. We are very much looking forward to intermediate training!”
“I had a ship to store pickup and I thought it was ready for me to pick up, but I didn't realize until I arrived that I needed to wait for a text that it was ready. Matt went out of his way to expedite this processing so I didn't have to drive back. Very thankful as a new mom with a 4M old and was able to give my husband his gift at his birthday party that night!”
“Just a week in with our Mini Aussiedoodle, but wanted to write a review on the great Customer service I received from Great Lakes Pet Food. They have started a new website recently, which caused some issues with my first order. Danielle at GLPF was a champ and responded quickly and corrected my order when one of my Meat Treats was not delivered. A true test of a companies commitment to its customers is how they handle situations when things go wrong, and Danielle and GLPF passed with flying colors. Assuming our Pup does well on this food, which he was started on with his breeder, we will be long term customers of Great Lakes Pet Food! Thank you!!”

“They helped my get 2 kittens fixed that I had taken in that were thrown out of a car with the Bissell fixing and vaccination clinics and were beyond helpful and nice about it. I would absolutely recommend them!”
