“This store is always clean and well stocked. The produce and meat selection are always very fresh and easy to pick from. To top things off the store's associates are always friendly and willing to help out.”
“Interesting store geared towards supplying to restaurant and prepared food providers. Limited supply in stock of some items and categories, but they also have some things you can't get other places. We still prefer the business Costco and US chef store just because they are bigger and carry a wider variety. Still these guys are pretty good as a local supply shop.”
“Store is a bit overwhelming but good. So much stuff to look at and choose from. Service is good and staff is friendly. Definitely the place to go for alcoholic drinks, mixes or anything you can't seem to find in other stores. Some deli food and meats. Prices run about normal”
“Gotta love Aldi!
Pro tips:
1) DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR OWN BAGS. Sometimes there's a pile of free empty boxes, but you can't count on it.
2) If you have the time, do your research. Aldi prices for some items are not always lower than Meijer/Kroger.
3) Sometimes the name brand and Aldi/generic are very different. It takes trial and error to figure out which generic items you actually like. There are some things (like coffee creamer) that I always buy brand name. They taste very different to me.
4) Try to go in person instead of using instacart if you can. You can't count on the things you order (or your backups) to be in stock. You might also find something new or better that isn't listed.
5) The self-checkout camera is not flattering, but still a great place to check your hair/makeup. ?”
“Located just outside downtown Ypsilanti, they have all the essentials of a Latin market with a bakery that is TOP tier. Fresh, masterfully made pastries, and gorgeous elegant cakes are made daily as are the tamales. Don't sleep on this hidden gem!”
“I would do 5 stars, but had to do 4 because of the prices. I understand it's pricey because it's a small little shop, but it's just too steep to shop here regularly. Still, they have great products and the selection is usually very good. I love the bakery especially! Amazing bread and pastries, even the vegan and gluten free options are delicious. Bulk section is pretty good. Nice little beer selection too. Great customer service, I've never had any issues. Parking can be a little rough, but I don't really care lol.”
“Great store, we stop in for family monthly trips to Ann Harbor, can walk in, grab a basket or cart, and grab fresh veggies and any spices or tea needed. And frozen section for anything frozen you might need.
All isles are labeled, and staff are willing to assist if you can't find what you're looking for.
Quick and friendly staff.”
“They have the best ears of corn!!!! They sell their produce down at Eastern market during the summer, but they didn't have corn for two weeks straight, so I took a detour when I was out in Canton for work and bought two dozen ears. Totally worth it!”
“There's an astonishing array of organic offerings and things that I've not seen anywhere else. I also had an Amazon return which was extremely smooth and easy. The staff were Friendly and helpful.”
“My new favorite store in Ann Arbor! This hidden gem offers a fantastic assortment of authentic Eastern, Central, and Baltic European groceries, meats, cheeses, wines, and so much more—all at very fair prices. Every visit feels like a little journey abroad. The shelves are filled with unique products you won’t find anywhere else, from freshly smoked sausages and pierogis to specialty sweets and imported pantry staples.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the atmosphere. The staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind—it feels less like running errands and more like visiting old friends. There’s a wonderful sense of nostalgia here, a reminder of a time when grocery shopping was personal and full of human connection.
A truly special store that brings both flavor and heart to Ann Arbor. I highly recommend stopping by—you’ll leave with a smile and a basket full of treasures!”
“I always enjoy visiting this store whenever I'm in the area. Very kind family who owns the place. Very helpful and best cook around. Love the deli and gives free samples. ❤️ the store and family owners.”
“This place has a crazy selection of products, and if you can't find something, the staff is so nice. Everything is super clean and fresh, and sometimes they even have live music.”
“I like purchasing their Florida avacados they are huge and taste just like the smaller ones but I have only been able to find them here plenty of spices and foods for making my Mexican meals love this store”

“Love this store and the folks who run it. Good people. Good selection. Helps that it's so close, but if I moved and was still within a few miles I would go out of my way to come here.”

“You'll pay a little extra for the convenience but that's okay. Everyone that works that is always friendly and helpful. Great place to stop if you just need a few things but don't want to drive too far.”
“If you're looking for culantro to make sofrito with, this is the place to go! Nice big bunch of culantro, only place so far in Ann Abor area I have been able to find it.”
“Pharmacy staff was very patient and explain all concerns Belleville location, bravo ?? Meijer‼️‼️?? much needed store in Romulus Michigan ?no grocery stores in the area ?”
“The new owners are incredibly kind and friendly. Although this a dusty little hole in the wall it is the heart and soul of last minute buys in downtown Ypsi. Classic establishment that I wish would do more to be more than a dusty hole in the wall. Products are dusty it would almost appear like it's a Bodega or something lol. But their stuff is not all expired”
“Wonderful little Old but Good Convenience store in what seems like the middle of nowhere if Ur Not Familiar with Sumpter Michigan, This Place is like finding an Oasis in the Desert ?️ if Ur Hungry or Thisty”
“Great customer service and selection of craft beers and wine! Always have what I want to get the weekend started. They always treat me like family and I really appreciate that!!”

“My partner and I have lived nearby for about 3 years now, and this is our go to gas station. We consistently go for snacks and firewood, and it has become a regular date night stop for us. The staff are always friendly and we have always felt very safe and welcomed. Thank you for everything!”
“PLEASE move the grocery pickup back to the SIDE OF THE BUILDING! People keep parking in the pickup parking spots and doing their grocery shopping in store for hours! When I come to pickup at my selected time there’s NEVER an open designated spot for me! This is ridiculous! Why was it moved to the most congested area of the entire parking lot!!!”
“Ordered Barbie silhouette cupcakes for my daughter's birthday. The cupcakes were moist and delicious. They were also decorated beautifully! Thank you Kroger bakery!”
“Clean but finding someone to help in the tech area was terrible. If the store requires a keyed employee to get items, staff should be available and visible at all times.”
“It's a very good plaza and you know it's not the greatest location but it's a great plaza for the location it's in and I really like it and I highly recommended to people to go to for sure.”
“I love this gas station. I have to drive some miles there to cash my Kroger points but even so, the price they sell gas is competitive when discounting 500+ points. For less than that there are other gas stations around that offer similar prices without the hassle.”
“Since there are some negative reviews here, I felt I should write. I have never had any problems here. The produce looks good, staff is friendly, and the store is just easier to deal with than the behemoths in Ann Arbor and Ypsi. Selection is decent considering the size, with some ethnic foods.”
“Good place for a pit stop for snack and drinks. Even little grocery items as well. And of course alcohol. The gentleman at the counter was so nice. This place has been around for forever and it should stay that way.
There is a little farm stand outside and their pickles are pretty awesome too!”
