La Espiga Dorada Market is an amazing bakery and market with incredible, fresh, and authentic baked goods. It offers the best pan dulce in the area, with delicious conchas and yoyos that are fresh in the mornings. The market has wonderful baked goods, rolls, pastries, and sweet goods, including the best croissant ever had. They also make custom and special cakes, like a delicious Tres Leches Cake, with consistent and helpful service. The atmosphere is great, and the market also has a small produce stand, many candies, and spices. It is a real treat and comes highly recommended.
Located just outside downtown Ypsilanti, they have all the essentials of a Latin market with a bakery that is TOP tier. Fresh, masterfully made pastries, and gorgeous elegant cakes are made daily as are the tamales. Don't sleep on this hidden gem!

These guys are fantastic! A wide variety of snacks, meals and pastries/sweets! Every time I've ever visited, they've treated me right and went out of their way to assist me with special orders, even last minute! Highly recommended, give them a shot and also make sure to try their mocha donuts!
