Be cautious of taking your vehicle here for anything of importance. To start I waited 3 days longer than they told me I would be waiting for a simple job. When I finally got my vehicle back, it did not drive as it should. Major issues with my RPM's, which did not have to deal with why I brought my vehicle into the shop in the first place. I brought it back to them and they pretty much blew me off. Denied that they could have done something wrong or forgot something. Sent me on my way with a vehicle that drove worse than before I brought it to them.Thank goodness I have some sort of mechanical knowledge and found out they broke a vacuum hose, and also forgot to plug one in all together. Who knows how much they would have charged me for diagnosing and fixing this easy mistake that they made. Again, please be careful of taking your vehicle here. The work is very sloppy and rushed.

If you value your time, dont go here, i gang them 3 tries, and everytime they fell short. With the latest experience being, i scheduled an oil change for noon, and expressed i needed it by three, i called at two, and they said it was being pulled in next. Arrived at three and they were just getting ready to pull it in, TWO hours later they finished the oil change. Will not be giving them a fourth chance…..

Do NOT come here for anything! THEY called ME saying that they now have a weekend mechanic and that since I was still on file I could bring my car in for a 9am Saturday appointment. Cool. I even dropped it off Friday night. They call me Saturday at 12:37p saying they just got it pulled into the garage. Fine no big deal. I later have to call them @ 4:40pm asking on the status. They go on to tell me that it’s been a busy day and that they may have to keep it until tomorrow…. Why not notify me before? Why call me in the first place? Not to mention, I was on file because I had my time wasted in the same fashion twice before. And then this time they tell me that the same process they planned to do to my car isn’t covered by my insurance place! This is the worst place in wixom! DO NOT GO HEREUpdate: I got my car back just for JARED to tell me that they had it from 9am-6pm and did absolutely nothing. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!

I went in there for two tires and an alignment. They would not do my alignment. I ended up going to a different place after I destroyed the tires after only a month that place adjusted my toe only and now my car drives a lot better and I won’t go through tires in a month. I would not suggest anybody go here ever.

3 hour wait with an appointment. Waited 25 minutes after the car was ready to check out because the guy was trying to upsell a customer instead of asking him to step aside and then proceeded to help another walk in. I was told they *must* mount the 2 new tires in the rear even though it was FWD due to traction; to which I replied "okay you guys are the experts." Then, they mounted them on the front anyway. Nice people, but zero urgency. Take your money elsewhere.

While we didn't have any actual work done, they still helped us out.While in town visiting family, our airbag light came on. They don't deal with airbags and were super busy, but still took the time to get the error code.I was able to get a new sensor at AutoZone and get back on the road for our 30 hour drive.They didn't have to help us out, and weren't getting paid for it. We're super appreciative and would definitely use them for other work in the future.

I dropped my car off the previous night for a appointment at 8am the following day, I didn’t hear anything all day so I called in at 4pm and was put on hold 2 separate times because they couldn’t find my paperwork. Then I was informed they were just getting to look at my vehicle only to tell me a hour later they couldn’t work on it. Not impressed… why have scheduled appointments if you can’t honor them.

2 different employees told me they could get my brakes fixed on Friday. 6 hours into the day and I hadn't heard from them with a quote, work day's almost over so I called and was met with a confrontational demeaning voice who wouldn't even let me talk. Insisted they were always planning to just look at it today, not do the work.News to me, as I was told both when I made the appt Tuesday and when I dropped it off at 7am Friday it would be done by 3. Needed to get home after work, and get to work on the weekend... so I took my 2k brake job elsewhwre. I really don't appreciate the attitude I was given when I called asking about the services I was promised. Customer service is lost on these folks, I won't be back.

We are also very disappointed! We have used Firestone at other locations for over 25 years. Although we had a 9:30AM appt set up at the Wixom, MI location, we were told the car would not even start the service until after 5PM (7.5 hours after the appt). We were told they would only do an inspection, but would not have time to replace the spark plugs or do the brake fluid service.This is the third and last time we will use this Firestone. We had identical negative experiences the first 2 times we had Firestone service in Wixom, with the service starting 7-8 hours after our appt time. We will not return to this Firestone due to extremely poor service.Services: Electrical repair

We are very disappointed. We took our vehicle in on Saturday for a warranty issue because our tires have worn down much sooner than anticipated. They did the minimum they could do to compensate for the issue, but we obviously needed new tires so we decided to go through with the purchase.They said it would be ready on Monday, they never called to update, so my husband called late afternoon. They said it should be ready at close of business, and we never heard back. After receiving a voicemail this morning, came well before close to find a note on the door about being closed for training. They saw us at the door and ignored our presence. A call should have been made alerting us to the time change.Now we can make another trip to hopefully get our vehicle back after over 4 days without it.We won’t be back, nor will we recommend this location.

Went to do wheel alignment for my car, they charged very small amount for the job because current alignment status is good. I think they are really honorable and reliable, will be there again for the wheel alignment of another car.Service: Wheel alignment

Manager is awesome. They fixed a lot on my Jeep and made sure to adjust anything that didn't turn out right the first time. They make it right. I will go there again.

A few reasons for my "moderate" ratingExpensive - I think for someone who's not a "specialist" like a dealer on a certain make or model, they charge way more than industry bench mark for an auto shop.Trust - I couldn't really tell if the problem they reported after a day of me leaving the vehicle there, (which wasn't why I left it there in the first place) truly existed. I had to agree as they said it could affect the performance over a period of time. Many shops do this, but I'd expect firestone to be better.Service was great. The agent at the front desk walked me through the different model of tires they carried.. Didn't try to upsell. Guess they make enough not to! Overall I'll go there if I won't have the time to do some research on cheaper alternatives.
