“Started with an oil change and ended up getting my brakes and rotors replaced. During the oil change they checked my tire pressure and filled them and sprayed the hinges of all of my doors which was so nice. They also let me know that I needed new brakes and rotors (my dash light had been on an embarrassing amount of time) but they were very kind and gave me an estimate, ordered the parts, and did the job on a Saturday morning for me. I felt very comfortable, all of the guys were extremely professional and helpful. Charlie was the only persons name I caught and he was the best! The pricing was extremely fair, they knew what to do with my foreign car (I honestly have no idea but they knew), and they did all the repair work on a Saturday! Super grateful for all the guys there and I would highly recommend seeing them for your oil changes and other car repair/maintenance.”
“Amazingly friendly staff. Full oil change done in about 10 minutes. Very clean and easy in and out. Johnny completed my oil change and he gave me a bottle of water and a package of Cheez-It! Johnny reminded me that they will top off my fluids between oil changes too! Highly recommend and I will be back!”

“I had a great experience with detroit garage. They diagnosed the problem on my car within a couple hours, documented all the areas of concerns with pictures which was very professional. I talked to them before I approved the repair to understand what parts were bad and needed to be replaced.
Overall I was very pleased with the work and will definitely come back.”

They found something wrong that should have been picked up at the last shop, and were able to fix it at no-charge. “Awesome place and awesome people! I blew out my A/C unit (faulty compressor) in March of 2024 and they were beyond helpful in diagnosing the issue and repairing it. I went back to have the timing belts, water pump and tensioners replaced shortly afterwards and once again, amazing help. I would recommend Sovel's to everyone!”

Norm let us know the same day we dropped it off that he wanted to try his hand at rewiring a lot of the systems before counting it out. “My air conditioner was on the fritz last week. It wasn’t blowing cold and then eventually was just hot air blowing out. Fast forward about 5 days.. I was leaving for work and my car died at an intersection ??♀️ I could not get it to start back up. ?. I had my car towed here after a recommendation and I read a lot of great reviews.
I spoke with Ally before and after my vehicle was dropped off. Within a few hours and an inspection from two of their mechanics, she called me back and went over everything throughly with me.
The prices are reasonable, and the customer service was fantastic!

“Really great service , very thorough and friendly. I bought a Groupon like I often do and haven't been wowed but any places, but I will be returning here. I've been to so many places that pressure you or try to fool you into purchasing extras at very high prices. (Wipers, cabin filters etc) Not these guys.
Vamsi was super nice, informative and knowledgeable. He took the time to walk me through the infotainment center to reset the maintenance schedules. He suggested I get a new wiper blade and when I told him I do have another set, he made sure to let me know to do it soon because my windshield could be scratched and it is starting to, which I overlooked. Just a really great place.”
