“A few months ago, my daughter got into a car accident that crumpled up her hood and her bumper. My husband looked around for a place close by that allowed payment plans since we or she did not make a lot of money. Doug not only worked with her on a payment plan, but he worked very hard to make sure that he was able to get flawless parts to replace the necessary parts on her vehicle. Every time she came in to make a payment, he updated her on how much he was working for her to make her car like new again, and constantly reassured her that he was in her corner. He was even able to find the parts in the exact color of her vehicle which ended up saving her a 2 thousand dollars. Today we were able to pick up her vehicle and there was no disappointment. Abe and his team did an incredible job! The finish is flawless, and the color match is absolutely perfect. They also did a great job replacing both of my rusted-out fenders. My truck looks brand new again! The quality of the workmanship is truly exceptional, and the price was very fair. “I took a rear trim panel for my 2021 Escalade to get painted. The color was pearl white. They did a great job with the color match. Also had it done in 3 days. The price was very reasonable. I was happy that they agreed to paint the part. Most body shops only want high dollar insurance work and won’t paint small parts for you. I’ll definitely be going back for anything else I need painted.”

“Honestly can’t say enough good things about Uptown Body Repair. The service here was better than anywhere I’ve ever been. From start to finish they were amazing. Everyone in that shop is just awesome, super friendly and easy to deal with. The guys in the back do incredible work, and the folks up front make everything simple and stress-free.
What really blew me away is they even let me use one of their cars while mine was being fixed, so I didn’t have to mess around driving to Windsor for a rental. That alone saved me a huge headache. “First of all, I have StarFarm insurance.. I picked Moran because it was on their preferred list and they had the best ratings Downriver. Took my vehicle there for the initial estimate, they were 90% accurate, the way ordered all the parts and after they arrived they had a few more things to order after digging into the repair. All in all it was a total of 3 weeks and my vehicle was only there for 6 days. It’s like new, they are awesome and honest!”
“There were installation issues with reprogramming my cars windshield electronics. It took 2 retries with Safelight glass and a third with OEM glass from Subaru. The gang stuck with it until everything was completed to factory specs. Three appointments was a bit taxing but I appreciated that Safelight would not submit billing to my insurance company until I was satisfied of a properly completed Installation and electronics working correctly. The technician and staff were apologetic and concerned as I was about taking 3 appointments to complete everything correctly. They kept researching and getting approvals for an OEM glass from Subaru in order to get a satisfactory job satisfied customer. Thank you Southgate, MI store.”
“WOW! I chose Gerber Collision after my car was hit. My insurance covered the cost, but Gerber went above and beyond with their service. They texted me everyday with updates on the car and an estimate of when it would be done. When I reached out with questions, they were always quick to respond and very kind (I asked a lot of questions!). My car was finished 3 days before they originally quoted me, and they detailed the ENTIRE inside of my car. When I went to pick it up, the mechanic talked me through what was done and their warranty. They also stayed late for me to get my car! I will definitely be using Gerber for all repairs moving forward!”
