I have always booked with Hertz, both personally and through my insurance company AAA. And I've always been happy, however, last year I rented a vehicle with Hertz that required me to put air in the tire every time I drove it and continuously had a check oil engine light on. The manager stated he would give me a deal the next time I rented, however, he was no longer there at the time of my next booking, which was fine I wasn't looking for a handout. But I booked a vehicle for this Saturday because I knew my car was going into the shop, but I was told that the vehicle had to stay at the shop when I took it in on Wednesday so I called Wednesday, finally was able to get somebody on the phone after 3 attempts and was told that there were no vehicles available to call back today, on Thursday. I have called probably eight times today then finally drove to the location where there was a handwritten sign on the door saying we'd be back soon. I do not know how long the sign was on the door but I do know that there were two people in the parking lot that were also waiting and had been there for quite some time and since I had attempted calling at least seven times, I would have to assume that it's been closed all day. So I'm currently without a rental and my vehicle has to be dropped off in the shop this evening. Now it is also too late to book with Enterprise. This location has been extremely frustrating to at least three customers, myself included but I failed to understand how it can continue operating in such a displeasing manner.

I had a very positive experience here and am switching from Enterprise. Staff and management very professional and overall I believe they're doing an outstanding job.

Never rent from here ever, the branch manager David Hardy has terrible customer service, they will charge you for days that you did not have their vehicle after you returned it, just to send you to their customer service call center that doesn't help you. I've been fighting to get my money that this crooked company has been trying to steal from me back for going on 2 months now. I'm definitely filing with the Better Business Bureau against these criminals.

I had a very similar experience like Omar Rayes! I spoke with the Branch Manager David Hardy. I explained to him I currently work all the way in Saline and by the time I am off or back that way, they are closed. He laughed and kept saying he did not have any options, but at the end said, you can go to another location and drop it off. I told him, why didn't you just say that at the beginning instead of being nonchalant and unhelpful! He was rude and the bad part about the entire situation is that I called the week prior and the day prior to ask and inform them about the extension and no one, including David stated anything about what needs to be done. The gentlemen I spoke to on 02/13 said that my extension would be all set and there was nothing else I needed to do! David Hardy is a rude individual and has ZERO customer service skills at all! How he is a manager shows they are willing to give anyone a title or position who DOES NOT deserve it! TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE! The only reason why I went to them was because my truck is getting repaired at the Feldman across the street! NEVER AGAIN!

I called to extend my car rental for a week and was informed that I couldn't do it over the phone. I was directed to call a specific number to extend the rental online, but unfortunately, that didn't work. Upon contacting the office, I was informed that they couldn't facilitate the extension. As a result, I've decided to return the car and seek a rental from another place where I can extend the rental without encountering similar issues.

Really no land line! Since one of the workers missed placed the cordless phone they can only take walk in’s or online reservations. Now who do I call if I have an issue? ….. No one because they have no phone. I guess I’m not getting my rental today. Thanks Hertz

I rented a car for the day at this location in Woodhaven. The rep was nice but I got a car that wasn’t cleaned yet. I had to ask them to clean it. They did with no problem. They also sale cars at this location and they have great prices on their cars for sale. I had a hard time finding a place to park.

Wow couldn't notify us you were closing early, we couldn't get to you in time between late arrival and construction on the roads. Couldn't get our rental and left without transportation. To top it off when I phoned to discuss this was treated with rude / unprofessional responses and basically told "Not out problem"

Worst car experience I ever had!Before wasting your time trying to purchase a vehicle make sure they have the title there. They should of made sure they had the title before doing the credit check. After I did all the paperwork they told me they can't find the title, they have to file for a duplicate, and it should take a week or 2.As I was doing the paperwork I over heard another customer saying to another sales associate "you told me my title would be in today", I asked my sales associate am I going to have that problem he said "no".After 3 weeks and over $1,500 in rental fees. I returned the rental and went next door to Michael Bates and drove off with a car.Over $1,500 dollars wasted on a rental that money could of went on 3-4 monthly car payments.The rental and sales are separate so that money I wasted would not have went towards the purchase of the vehicle.

Poor customer service …Employees are rarely at their desks /phones and if I want to get in contact with a person rather than a repeated message I’ll have to spend more time on the phone with the robot trying to pick the right number than actually talking to the employees

I’m so grateful that they had my reservation through State Farm/ Steve Hargrove & Staff. After the heavy flooding my vehicle was flooded with debris and sewage water and the vehicle was still available to help me with the claim process. Thank you for your assistance Hertz!

Took a uber which was a 40 mins drive for then to say they don't have anything to rent to me. very bad service
