He is realistic but will motivate you and help you become stronger than you thought you could be. The equipment is always in great condition and the programing is new every day. “I have been going to GIVE Fitness since January 2022. After 2 years of not doing any real fitness (thanks pandemic!), I had to get real and I am so glad I found Pierre and GIVE Fitness!Pierre specializes in designing programs for the client based on their needs, medical conditions, limitations, etc. He pushes me just hard enough that I feel the results, but I am not having to lay around the rest of the week to recover from my workout. And I'm definitely feeling and seeing the results.The gym is a well-stocked boutique gym. If you do PT, it is semi-private, meaning that there could be up to three other people in the session but they are in their own area, working their own program. It's very easy to schedule PT in the app and you can see if other people are in that session (I can often find a slot where it is just me).In addition to PT, there are also group classes which you can go to if you are a PT-client or you can go to just as a class-only member. You can schedule for the classes in the app too, I think those have a 6 person limit. There's "Box and Burn", "Body Burn", and good ol' "Thighs, Butts, and Guts"!100% recommend Pierre to anyone looking to improve their fitness.”

“Very clean roomy and plenty of equipment. Over all nice location. My only comment is the music is way, way too loud. It even over powers my noise cancelation. I’m sensitive to loud noise. Looking around almost everyone uses headphones not sure why they have to have it so loud. Not a huge deal though but kinda annoying. Out of all the locations I’ve been to it’s usually at a modest volume. It know it’s a silly thing I guess. But if you want to listen to your own music or podcasts it’s difficult.”

“This is not your standard gym. I enjoy coming in and I look forward to the workouts everyday! I love the variety of exercises and you work at your own pace, though the encouragement from the trainers to push yourself a bit further out of your comfort zone is always a plus. “Red Effect is more than just a gym. The energy, positivity and motivation are absolutely priceless. I have been coming on and off for almost four years! And every time I come back, I feel myself truly healthier from the inside out. If you would’ve asked me four years ago if I run for fun, I would’ve laughed. Red Effect was the foundation of my preparations to run three half marathons, countless 5Ks and training for my first full this year. I am the healthiest I have ever been since beginning my training here. I love the cardio/strength/rower variety and the sauna on the days I need some rest. Once you start - you won’t get enough! Love the altruism of the gym as well as they are partnered with multiple non-profits that are a positive impact on the surrounding community. “This place is amazing! I have been coming a little under a year. I was afraid to start CrossFit because I hear horror stories of injuries but doing CrossFit has really increased my functional fitness. My hips and back are much happier for it. Kirk Said is the man, he's super knowledgeable and friendly. All of the coaches are patient and helpful. I'm not the fittest person but I always feel like I'm being encouraged and celebrated. Classes are fun and never boring. There is nothing but good people here. The work outs vary every day, and are scalable to your fitness level. I love being able to do things I couldn't 2 weeks before. My advice is if you are nervous about CrossFit just do it. And do it here at a CrossFit downriver.”

He is the first chiropractor I have met, who takes the time to listen to you and when creating your plan he actually takes into account your lifestyle and creates realistic goals. “No other workout like it, no other community like it. I recommend Syphus over and over to people who are looking for a new workout routine or gym. Classes are an hour long with a new workout written on the board every day. The goal is to complete as much of the workout as you can in an hour. The beauty of it is you determine your own intensity for each workout. You can go at your own pace or, if you want to add a competitive edge, you can try to keep up with others. There is every type of fitness level from beginners to advanced. If you’re thinking about trying about a class, do it! First class is always free ?”

“Best raw powerlifting gym in the metro Detroit area, hands down. If you lift here and embrace the culture, you'll find family and friendship in abundance. As of this review, September of 2023, there's five combo racks, two monoliths, four deadlift platforms, almost every bar you can think of, and enough red kilo plates for every rack/platform to be in use at the same time. In addition to the powerlifting equipment, there's plenty of machines, dumbbells, cables, cardio machines, etc. The list goes on. This is the kind of gym where you learn everyone's name, they learn yours, and you look forward to showing up even on the days you don't feel like working out. The owner, G, and the all of the F3 trainers really make you feel like you're not just a member of the gym, but a member of their team and family. I love this place and if I ever have to move far, this will be the number one thing I miss about the area.”

“My son loves the Ninjakour. We had a new coach for one day (Jacob). He was really the only who taught the kids. He’s a true coach. My son got more skill building from him in one session than the 5 weeks prior. Mostly the other coaches just let the kids do random things.”

“Great place to get a work out. Flexible. Friendly. Affordable. Trainers encourage you. Push you. Show you proper form to target the right areas and prevent injury. I did it several years ago. And I came back! I spent years going to Planet Fitness and i wasn’t getting the results I wanted because I honestly didn’t know what I was doing. “I finally found a gym I love ,first of all there are more than enough equipment, which means no more waiting, hours are great ,the best thing I like about it,was it's not your typical celebrity gym.if you don't know what I mean is that it doesn't have narcissistic people and tripods all over the place for someone who wants their 15 minutes of fame, which means everyone here is friendly, respectful,and focused on their training.old school style gym ,not those typical gyms that end with fitness . Like if it’s so popular why would you have 600 treadmills and 4 of the machines everyone uses the most?
