Ypsilanti Goodwill Store and Donations is one of six locations in the Metro Detroit area that sells gently used items and accepts donations. The donation center opens an hour before the store and closes an hour before it. The store offers a decent selection of clothing, which is well organized, and a variety of vinyl records, although many are heavily used. The store is generally clean and neat, but some customers find the furniture prices to be too high. There are multiple fitting rooms, though occasionally some are blocked off, which can be inconvenient. Pricing at this location has received mixed reviews; some find it reasonable, while others mention that prices can be vague and inconsistent, with orange tags sometimes indicating higher prices without clear signage. Staff at checkout may sometimes lack friendliness, as some customers noted they did not receive greetings or thanks. Donation policies vary: the store does not accept furniture or picture frames, and donations should be sorted and bagged, not boxed, to streamline the process. Customers have reported that staff scrutinize items during drop-off and may refuse certain items, which can be awkward. Despite these issues, many appreciate the store's selection and organization, and it remains a popular choice for nearby shoppers. For more details, visiting their website is recommended.
Not organized by size! Very hard to find what you are looking for when you have to sift through many sizes.
Would advise this location to reorganize by size!

Pricier than most Goodwill stores and the clothes smell mustier as well. If a wrinkled and stained dress costs $15, I’d rather go across the street to Target and buy new for $30. The toys were broken and dirty as well. The shoe selection was pretty good though.
