“Sam Lickteig has helped me out so much over the years. With his vast knowledge on how the human body works, both from a recovery standpoint and a training standpoint. He has helped me recuperate from multiple types of injuries such as my throwing shoulder (baseball pitcher), low back, lower body calf, and hip.

Anytime you need more extensive soft tissue muscular rehab work.He is the guy to go to.

1000% recommend!

Cheers!”

“This gym is absolutely incredible—easily one of the best I’ve ever been a part of. The atmosphere is motivating, the equipment is top-notch, and everything is clean and well taken care of. What really sets it apart, though, is the people. The owners and staff genuinely care, know you by name, and create a culture that pushes you to be better every single day. It’s more than just a place to work out—it’s a place to grow, be challenged, and feel like you belong. The owner is a Pastor, but not just from a pulpit—his ministry breathes through everything he does. In this gym he owns, iron and sweat become part of something sacred. On Saturday mornings, before most of the world has even woken up, he’s already there—setting the tone, not just for a workout, but for a gathering of men who are learning how to carry more than weight.

They call it Cross Carriers.

It’s free, because he believes what changed his life should never be behind a price tag. Men show up from all walks—strong, broken, searching, skeptical—and he meets each one the same way: with humility, with presence, with grace. He doesn’t posture as someone above them, but walks beside them. Lifts with them. Listens to them.

After the workout, when the breathing slows and the noise fades, he shifts the focus. The devotional isn’t polished or performative—it’s real. Rooted. Lived. He speaks like a man who has wrestled, who has failed, who has been rebuilt. Scripture flows not as something memorized, but as something embodied.

He is humble in a way that’s unmistakable. Not weak—anchored. He knows where his strength comes from, and it’s not himself.

Every worry, every pressure, every unseen burden—he lays it down daily. Not once, but over and over again. At the feet of Jesus. He doesn’t pretend to have control; he surrenders it. And in that surrender, there’s peace. Not a life without problems, but a life without panic.

He doesn’t chase recognition. He chases obedience.

And somehow, because of that, people are drawn in. Not to him—but to what’s in him.

A man who lifts others.
A man who carries his cross.
A man who walks in grace… and helps others learn how to do the same.

Pastor Dan, thank you for carving out time to invest in me. The way you lead, love, and walk in obedience to God doesn’t go unnoticed. You’ve challenged me, believed in me, and pushed me to grow into the man I’m called to be. That kind of leadership is rare. You’re one of a kind. Thank you!”

“I like the kids leisure pool, there is a huge area that my 3 year old can walk in and it's not too deep. There are also two slides in the leisure area, one really small one and one that's medium sized. My 3 year old is getting more confidence (doesn't like going underwater but can handle getting face wet) and he can do the medium slide by himself. There are 2 large slides but we've never been here when it is open.I also love the Kids Stuff room. They have a huge room for the kids to play in, plus a playground outside they go to on nice days, PLUS an indoor 'playspace' playground. It's not huge but it is two stories and my kids often come out tired from running around and playing. There is a subway inside the community center closer to the hockey arena so that's a bonus if you want to stay for awhile!”
