“I recently adopted a dog and decided to take him to Rum River Vet because the vet we previously used retired. You never know what to expect with a new place. However, I was very impressed with the facility and the level of care and attention that my dog received. They also went out of their way to make sure he was comfortable by using a treat feeder mat which distracted him when they drew his blood. I also noticed that they try to make vet care as affordable as possible, which is always helpful. I was able to use a new client coupon which entitled him to a free vet visit and exam and I also received a free Heartguard tablet. I would definitely recommend Rum River Vet.”

We had been taking our sweet boy, Burt to Dr. Melco for the 8 years that we had him & Dr. Melco always went ABOVE & BEYOND for Burt. He saved his life more than once, including a terrifying incident with kinetic sand! (He stayed open late to do life saving surgery!) He treated us & Burt with so much compassion, and especially at the end of his life…He listened, and tried to do as much as he could to make Burt comfortable those last few months. He came to our house when the time came to put Burt down & even called me the next day to see how we were doing & to tell me how wonderful of a dog Burt was. I will ALWAYS recommend Dr. Melco & Paws & Claws to anyone needing exceptional care for their animals.”

I love how choices were given and advice without out judgement or any pressure to get all care options done all at this time. Just love and caring for Penny and myself. Pet care is expensive but All Pets is right in line with what I was charged at other vets in the past. I Alanna(?I’m not great with names) the receptionist was awesome too. Very patient and helpful. Even though it was the end of day everyone was patient and kind as I made decisions for my dog with summer allergies. She’s feeling much better already, a few days later and I will be bringing her back for vaccinations asap. 🥰”

“I don't even know where to begin. I adopted a sweet little kitten this past year. She was so active and happy and playful. One day the way she walked randomly changed and she started rapidly losing weight. Within a few days she couldnt walk or stand at all. I was so scared when I brought her in, and even more scared when I was told it is was something called FIP. The survival rate without near-immediate treatment is so low. Dr. Joanne was so supportive when she talked me through the diagnosis and the treatment plan she had set up. She even helped me connect with other people who have gone through dealing with FIP as well. I am not exaggerating when I say there was a point in October when her weight got down to nearly 1lb and I was preparing to lose her. The treatment was around 3 months. The Andover Vet Clinic became like a second home, having to come in weekly for weight ins and check-ups to making sure the treatment was helping. I still remember the excitement I felt the first time I was able to bring her in for one of her weekly appointments and show them that she was walking again! Omg it was so emotional. Everyone here was so supportive during this treatment and so many people at the clinic took part in making sure the support was there for her. It means so much to go into a vets office and know, without a doubt, the people helping you care about you and your pet. Anyway here we are, months later, and my sweet little girl has finished her treatment. She has gained all of her weight back AND MORE and is running all over the place like a little maniac. I wish I could post videos on here so everyone could see! I am so proud of my strong little lady and I am so grateful to this office. I hope everyone who works here knows that they mean so much to me and so much to Clingwrap (I'm sure she misses visiting with you guys). I wish I could give this vet a hundred million stars. ?”
