“We had a cat emergency on a Saturday and my daughter remembered driving by here. The tech we talked to on the phone was super friendly and reassuring, and the tech and vet who worked with our "spicy" kitty were AMAZING. They spent extra time coaxing our cat out of the carrier and gave him explore time and settle down time in-between doing the steps of the exam. They explained his medication to us thoroughly, and when we had a question later, it was easy to call and get a quick answer. Highly recommended!”

“I am so impressed and touched with Uptown Veterinarian! Before I had established care anywhere, I had called around to several vets recently asking for advice because one of my cats sniffed a lily (which can be lethal even just from sniffing!). The next day, I got the sweetest voicemail from their practice manager, Blanca, asking about my cat by name and how she was holding up, and saying she hoped the lily scenario didn’t ruin my valentine’s day. Uptown Veterinarian checked back in despite me not even being a client—they truly just wanted to know my cat was okay. I ended up taking her in that day after the incident, and they were able to run bloodwork so quickly. Thankfully, my cat is fine, but everyone I interacted with here was so kind and Blanca even made a point of coming down to meet my cat as I was leaving. Truly outstanding service and care, at a level which is kind of unheard of these days! I will absolutely be taking all my pets here moving forward.”

“These folks always took the best care of our senior chihuahua, José. When he had an enlarged spleen last year, the doctor cleared her schedule in order to get him in for emergency surgery the very next day, which gave us another year with him we didn’t think we’d get. When he passed this winter, they even sent a card that everyone in the office had signed. This is a place that truly cares about the pets they see. “Took my puppy here for a same day appointment when the vet we had been going to was booked out for almost 2 weeks. I was so impressed. It really felt like everyone had my pets best intrest in mind and was very thorough. Dr. Dengel was the perfect combination of professional and personable to put all of my concerns at ease, and our tech Maria helped keep my puppy happy and kept me well informed. I left with everything I need to help make sure that he'll be a happy healthy puppy, including a bunch of tins of special food. Autumn at the front desk noticed I had my hands full and even offered to help carry them to my car. I can not overstate how impressed I am with the kindness and level of quality I experienced from everyone on their team.”

“I have no idea where these other one star reviews actually went because it wasn’t here. This is one of the best experiences I’ve had anywhere ever. My cat had an emergency bladder obstruction and we were struggling to find an emergency location that was able to work with us financially and actually had capacity. The online urgent care form was super easy to fill out and I was called back quickly after submitting it. We got in and they immediately took our sweet boy back to help relieve his pain. One of the receptionists came in and talked over all the different payment assistance programs they work with and how the process works. Vet techs and vets were so compassionate and understanding. They talked with us about our budget to see what we could get figured out to fit inside our constraints while still getting our cat the care he needed. They sent us home with donated prescription food and some of the medications he needed were donated as well to help with our cost. We’re coming back again in a few days to have the catheter removed, and its removal is included in our price we paid. Wonderful people through all steps of the process I can’t give you all high enough praise. Thank you for saving my baby and thank you for being such wonderful and helpful humans.”
