“The staff are so wonderful! I have a permanent puppy elderly dog. He’s so energetic and sometimes a bit much for people. The staff here are patient and understand his energy and deep neeeeeed for everyone’s attention (he’s super outgoing). He’s always excited to go to the Vet and see his friends. I know he receives amazing care from people who genuinely love what they do. My dog is really my child and I completely trust he’s in good hands when under their care. “Keller Lake is one of the premier veterinary hospitals in the metro area. We've been taking our darling cat there for years, and they've been incredible with her (despite her sometimes ~difficult~ nature). Top notch services and info from these folks, if you're looking for the best care for your pet this is the place!”
“They cared for my old 15 year old Malinois and when the time came for him to cross the bridge they helped all of us. They put a blanket for him, gave me some cat treats and then they gave him cheese in an aerosol thing. He died quickly but so happy. He had no idea. When we picked up his ashes they were in a beautiful wood box, a sweet card with his fur in it, a clay paw pressed in it, 2 pieces of paper with his paw prints, his certificate of cremation, plus some pamphlet on grief. Major had no reason to be scared. This place is amazing. I forgot, they sent a card from everyone there along with sweet messages. We have even had our other two dogs for different things. Great place.”
“We took our small breed dog here for a suspected ripped duclaw. Not only was the receptionist upon calling for an appointment friendly and helpful (she offered to have us send a picture to see if they could access it first that way), but the vet was also amazing. Very knowledgeable and you could tell veterinary care is her passion. Pricing was more than reasonable, especially considering the quality of care. This has certainly become our new vet.”
“Dr Thornquist is the best vet I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. I think she loves my dog(s) nearly as much as I do! She was a godsend with my last dog who lived with a deadly chronic illness that needed daily and monthly meds. She helped me help Maia. She is an incredible blessing.”

They go out of their way to send a welcome card, and if you order meds, they throw a toy into the package sometimes. Everything is done in a timely matter as well. I've moved around a lot and had about 5 different vets, this place is easily the best one.”

The reason we will always return to Rice Clinic...Everyone working on their staff cares as much about your pet as you do. That's enough for us to always return. “I am so impressed and touched with Uptown Veterinarian! Before I had established care anywhere, I had called around to several vets recently asking for advice because one of my cats sniffed a lily (which can be lethal even just from sniffing!). The next day, I got the sweetest voicemail from their practice manager, Blanca, asking about my cat by name and how she was holding up, and saying she hoped the lily scenario didn’t ruin my valentine’s day. Uptown Veterinarian checked back in despite me not even being a client—they truly just wanted to know my cat was okay. I ended up taking her in that day after the incident, and they were able to run bloodwork so quickly. Thankfully, my cat is fine, but everyone I interacted with here was so kind and Blanca even made a point of coming down to meet my cat as I was leaving. Truly outstanding service and care, at a level which is kind of unheard of these days! I will absolutely be taking all my pets here moving forward.”
“Wonderfully priced services to have available to the community! Staff is friendly and accommodating, the waiting area is nice and clean as are the bathrooms. Emails seem to be checked often, though I have rarely gotten a hold of anyone when calling (someone answers maybe once out of 15 times I call).”

“These folks always took the best care of our senior chihuahua, José. When he had an enlarged spleen last year, the doctor cleared her schedule in order to get him in for emergency surgery the very next day, which gave us another year with him we didn’t think we’d get. When he passed this winter, they even sent a card that everyone in the office had signed. This is a place that truly cares about the pets they see.
