I waited in a long line to get to the counter. A horrible woman at front desk stood there with a miserable expression. She was rude and offensive and I had to walk away from her. I should’ve went to the other staff member who is actually pleasant to deal with. Went to kiosk to send a small envelope and followed instructions perfectly. Printed the postage and sent the envelope. USPS sent the envelope back to me with insufficient postage. How inefficient can this United States Post Office be? I put more postage on it than the dimensions required. This place needs an overhaul! This xxxxx made me so upset. No wonder people go “postal!”

1 hour before closing the only person working takes a 15 minute break even when the line is 8 people deep.

Eric was so kind to me this morning and actively helped me find a solution for sending my wedding invitations through the mail without being beaten up by the machine. Eric's kindness made me feel so calm and heard after being upset at the prospect of the invitations being damaged during the processing journey. So kind and helpful!

This location is poorly run. And the cat’s out of the bag on the “rude employee” mentioned in most of the bad reviews lol her name is Shannon and yes, she’s horribly unpleasant. They’re constantly crowded. I make the drive to the Circe Pines post office to avoid this place. That staff is super nice and efficient there, and even with a long line they knock it out fast. Skip this location when you can.

Every time I go here it is always packed past the doors to come in. Last time I was there they only had one lady working. And she is so snobby and has a bad attitude problem even if you're nice to her and make things go smoothly. And then they are always out of the special fancy stamps. Or they just don't carry them I don't know. I was mad cause I have two different addresses and can't use their online part to order stamps so I have to go in and buy them.

Dropped the ball on their customer service and informing customers when mailbox lock is fixed. Also sent back held mail, when there was no choice but to hold the mail due to a broken lock on locked mailbox. Glad they received my $ for the fix but unable to access held mail now, as it was returned to senders, due to mail being unclaimed. When I asked why I was never contacted regarding the fixed mailbox the clerk had no response or apology. I even saw on the clipboard with my name, address, and phone number and it was all correct, but again no follow up when it was indeed fixed for “months allegedly….

Honestly just went to drop off a package which was suppose to be in and out and there was a cranky old lady in the front with glasses. Seriously rude. I asked a simple question and she got all attitude and snappy with me. All I wanted was to get insurance on my package being dropped off usps and she just was not friendly at all. Will not be coming back here because of her. I'm not even sure why I ended up leaving my package with her but I hope it gets delivered.

4 packages have been misdelivered in the past 2 weeks. 2 i received by good graces of neighbors but the other 2 i have not. Must be a new mail carrier. Post office will be doing an investigation but i hope they talk to the new mail carrier because how hard is reading? I'm out a birthday gift for myself and a family member because of this.

On Aug 20th 24 I went to the post office a little after 4PM. When I entered the building I was surprised to find the office was empty and the door was closed. I tried to open the door but it was locked. Immediately I started wondering why the office was closed so early. Is it a holiday? I couldn't think of any reason so I looked inside and noticed there was a clerk (a lady) behind the counter looking at me. I tried the door handle one more time. The lady didn't react so I began to wave at her and asked if the office was closed. It took a while for her to react and she told me to look for the information on the door. I looked but I couldn't find the office work hours, nor a note of why the office might be closed. The lady kept looking at me quietly while I struggled. I asked for a second time. This time she told me to use another door. I went close to the widows and tried to see if there was another entrance to the office. Then I realized the main entrance had a double door so I tried the second handle. It was unlocked so I managed to enter the office. I told the clerk that if they want to keep one of the doors locked they have to place a clear sign pointing to the operational door. Her response shocked me. She told me with a smirk on her face that the problem was with me and not with the door. That response was so unexpected, rude, and arrogant that I remained speechless. I decided to pay close attention to her attitude for the remaining interaction. Her tone remained very hostile. She took the package and asked me to verify the recipient's address on the screen. I told her that two letters (the initials of the recipient) were missing. She raised her voice for the first time and asked me to just press the "OK" button. I told her that I didn't feel comfortable doing that since the recipient's information seemed incomplete and this was a very important package. She yelled at me to press the "OK" button and that the recipient should not be displayed on the screen. That was another wave of inexplicable rudeness but I obeyed and pressed the button. After that, she started complaining with irritation about how much additional work Registered Mail requires not only for her but also for her colleagues. I remained quiet and waited for her to finish. After she was done I told her this was the most disappointing experience I've had with a USPS clerk ever and I am going to write a review and possibly file a complaint. She smiled at me and responded, "Please do". I asked for her name and she told me her name was Jeniffer.
Normally I would let such things roll and just forget about them. There was no profanity or violence involved. I have worked in busy environments and I know how stressful this could be. However, that was not the case. Jennifer was not busy, I was the only customer in the office. She seemed relaxed. She chose deliberately to be rude, aggressive, and arrogant with a sense of impunity. That speaks for a deeper problem and a complete lack of even basic business ethics. It is difficult to understand why a person with such social and professional deficiencies is assigned to work on a front register.
The locked door and the lack of clear and accessible indication is a completely separate problem unrelated to the attitude issues of the clerk.
I had to use the USPS office again the next day. I carefully inspected the notes on the door. There is a simple "Exit" sign on the locked door placed at a low location below my waistline making it practically invisible when staying close to the door. The choice of location is absurd and against any regulations for the use of signs in public spaces. Additionally the word "exit" does not necessarily imply a locked door. The sign should have been placed at eye level and should have stated "Exit ONLY. Please use the other door" with an arrow clearly pointing to the operational door.
In the Google reviews, I noticed I am not the first person

They admit to "mis delivering" three of my packages. Still waiting on a response before more of my mail gets lost. I was told I would get a response by one person within 48 hours and by a different person by the end of the day. Still waiting. Even though they admit they are at fault I am out my items and the money I spent. No accountability and no way to get help. Worst institution ever!!!!
