If you are looking to have your phone repaired and its not under apple care, just do third party repair. My experience with trying to have my phone serviced here was an absolute nightmare and infuriating to all end. I brought in an iPhone 11 pro max to get my battery replaced (just to increase battery life span) and they returned me a non functional phone. The tech said they found corrosion in the phone and were unable to do the repair. That's annoying but whatever. The part that part that they didn't tell me was that the tech had killed my phone before returning it to me. I was given back my device that I brough into them functional and received a power cycle locked device that would not maintain charge and would continually power cycle. I was then forced to get a new phone because of this whole ordeal as I didn't have the time nor the resources to get back home and have my phone fixed. I bought my own battery from an online vendor and while replacing my battery in an attempt to fix the phone; I discovered that this store had unplugged my batteries cables and didn't reattach them before telling me they would not do any repairs to my device and returning it. Moral of the story, if your device doesn't have apple care, go third party repair because if they see anything they don't like about your devices they will initially brick/break it to bully you into buying a new device.

After trying to get my iPhone 12 mini battery replaced at two other stores, I ended up at MOA (thankfully the store is located on the first floor, close to entrances on the west side, so it was easy to get to quickly). It was like the great Apple service experience I remember from the Uptown store (miss that store!). They were fast, efficient, kind, and not patronizing. The phone was ready when they promised it would be. They mentioned that if my old phone didn't survive the procedure, they would replace it and it appears they did just that! Third time was a charm. The first time would have been better, but now I know to just go to MOA.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANY PHONES HERE. THEY’RE SELLING PHONES HERE THAT CAN’T GET ACTIVATED WITH PHONE CARRIERS. THE STORE DID NOT ALLOW US TO RETURN THE PHONE EVEN THOUGH WE PURCHASE THE PHONE THREE DAYS AGO. $800 GONE TO WASTE BECAUSE THE PHONE CAN’T GET ACTIVATED.

The people that helped me were great, but they didn’t tell me that I wouldn’t be able to charge my phone with what came in the box. I don’t have any devices that use a usb-c so I don’t have an adapter at home. I also don’t have any wireless charging devices. By the time I realized an adapter wasn’t included, all stores were closed and my phone is almost dead, which is what I use for setting my alarm to wake up in the morning. This should be something that they mention when selling the iPhone 15. I would have bought one there or on my way home. I also found out today that they set me up for an AppleCare+ subscription that is $8 per month without asking me. I tried to cancel but it is not giving me the option.

Travis the manager personally troubleshot my mother-in-law’s seemingly broken iPhone. Travis found the root cause and gave next steps on how to update iOS and manage iCloud backups. Top-notch customer service.

I went in to try the Apple Vision Pro, which I’m excited about! There’s four units sitting right at the front, UNUSED. Great! Decided to check one out. As I’m looking and ready to try it on, an employee very quickly approached me and asked if I had an appointment. Of course I didn’t, I just want to try the units that are completely available sitting right there. Nope not allowed! Next appointment is in two hours. I politely declined, I’m not gonna sit around the mall for two hours staring at four unused units. I found that ridiculous. Then I asked politely, since no one is using these can I at least hold one to see the weight. That also wasn’t allowed apparently. The most I could do was touch the strap of one of these four unused Vision Pros, which the employee kindly demonstrated. I honestly just laughed at this point. I understand trying to keep an intense queue of people trying on probably one of their most expensive and interesting items in the store, but common sense should kick in at some point; just look around and notice that there are four unused units and allow the people interested to use one of them. Or leave one unit as a useable for people who walk in. The employee was just following their orders from the higher ups and they were as kind as they could be, but I could tell they thought it was a little ridiculous too. They’re guarding these test units like they’re the holy grail and it’s laughable. Store is clean and bright though.

My wife and I went in to the store today 01/25/2024. My wife had gotten gifted a pare of Gen2 airpods. We went into the store as we wanted to exchange the buds for the Airpod pros. We were told they don't do a trade in program for airpods. Package still had the plastic on them. I had asked why as it is an apple store and it is your product. The "expert" said that apple just doesn't do that. I had done it with my Samsung buds 2 on Samsung website and gotten the pros. Why doesn't Apple have a program for their buds. Terrible. We ended up going to Target and they were able to do a return even though they weren't bought at Target. Proceeded to give us a gift card and my wife got the Airpods Pro. Apple needs to figure they policies out with their product. Sad that you can't rely on the company that makes the product.

Came in today to repair my laptop - both Cam + Eric went above and beyond in my experience as a customer! They each took the time to listen to my many questions and answer with patience, kindness, and expertise. Their knowledge and guidance were greatly appreciated throughout this process. Thank you both!
