“We had a great experience. One of our posters was very well loved and slightly torn, but they did a fantastic job and the end result is lovely. Also, it was a super safe and comfortable experience for my girlfriend and I. Can’t wait to come back!”
“I can't say enough good things about our class at Legacy Glassworks. Setting it up was easy the person on the phone was incredibly friendly and sent an email confirmation. We were cheerfully greeted upon entering and had a nice look at the shop. Three cheers for our teacher Owen, he gave a great demonstration and assisted us throughout our class. He insured that we'd have a good outcome and was skilled, friendly and cheerful. Its too bad I can only give five stars, this place deserves a bunch more.”
“Wonderful time saw the Elf the musical Jr.
Wonderful staff. And actor lineup.
We sat center part way up lower level. Row K.
They have kid seat boosters that are perfect!
After the show the actors line up for autographs on the playbill!
Afternoon performance!”
“Such a peaceful & calm place to visit. The staff are very kind and welcoming. The kaffebar has good options for food and drinks. Highly recommend visiting the Norway House!”
“Pedro and Wendy did a fantastic job helping to design the framing style, executed it perfectly and did a wonderful job installing as well. Would highly recommend!”
“The current show Ebb and Flow was amazing curated. We were able to attend both the Opening and the Artist Conversations.
The artist featured in the speaker series were Emily Donovan, Annie Hejny, Allison Johanson and Halle Rutgers. All were amazing speakers and very engaging.
These were just a sampling of the art in this show.”
“Great venue, easy parking. Seats are a little tight but great views from all areas. I didn't go up in the balcony though. People with disabilities should be careful with seat selection as steps are kinda steep. We secured 3rd row, so it was perfect.”
“It's a beautiful space with amazing art from a diverse spectrum of artist and artistry. You WILL find something you love. The only problem? Sticking to your budget! You'll want everything! ?”
“Fantastic work framing a print for us! Great service and very cool showcase of art. One of our favorite art pieces was also purchased there a couple years ago. Thank you!”
“Owner was friendly. The store was full of amazing items from beautiful jewelry and clothing to unique books. Loved the atmosphere and the art pieces on display will definitely come back to buy more some time.”
“I love coming into the gallery and looking at what new unique art and treasures they have. Jolie and Kiera are one of a kind, as is their store. Framing is top quality and service is amazing. And the cards are goofy and hilarious!”
“Awesome assortment, reasonable pricing, super helpful staff. IMO it's the best place in town for beading supplies. I even picked up a fun book on Japanese beading that is out of print!”
“The premier artist housing and studio developers in the nation. Can’t say enough good things. Out this organization and it’s dedication to insuring affordable housing and studio space is available for America’s creatives. Honestly the world needs more orgs like artspace!”
“A beautiful gallery space with inspiring and thoughtfully-curated exhibitions. I've greatly enjoyed their programming, opening receptions and artist talks, and highly recommend a visit!”
“Beautiful selection of pristine quality mid century modern furniture. This is a joy to walk through, even just to window shop. I will definitely be back in the future when furnishing my home!”
“SOOVAC consistently brings thoughtful, stirring, and beautiful exhibitions into their uptown galleries. They have probably helped launch the careers of more local artists over the last 15 years than any other gallery in the cities.”
“Brilliant photos and even more brilliant host! King kindly gave us somewhere to shelter and it was a pleasure to meet him. He has done amazing work and I learned a lot from him and his photos”
“I've attended a dozen performances perfprmed by some of my favorite local theater/dance companies and the spaces available within the Vine Arts Center are of a very high quality. I would recommend attending anything presented here as the vibe is informal yet highly cultured. Enjoy!”
“It’s pretty fantastic to have a gallery like this in Bloomington, especially in the humble area of Penn and 90th. I’ve driven past it a million times but only went inside for the first time today. Wow - what a treat. There’s so much art and pottery inside, and in such a pleasant building. If you like art and pottery, you can’t not like it. I figured if I wasn’t familiar with African art or didn’t have a home esthetic that matched it, it wouldn’t be for me. But I was surprised how many things I loved and wanted to take home with me. The pieces are not cheap, but it’s the kind of stuff that’s quality and feels more special to buy. (P.S. The negative review from a couple years ago is just weird. I didn’t experience that with the owner at all. He was incredibly kind.)”
