“I delivered a 10 year old Giant Cross Bike with a broken derailleur hanger and numerous other problems and 10 days later I picked up what looked and functioned like a new bicycle. The major tuneup and repairs were all completed for a very reasonable cost and I am enjoying riding a safe and functional bike. The bike was completely cleaned and all the new parts and adjustments were exactly what was needed. I will return to Tonka Cycle and Ski for future bike purchases and service.”

“I have an older Salsa bikes that I love. When it started to ride poorly and I could not put my finger on what it needed, I went to Tangletown and talked to Nick. I was unsure if I needed a new bike as the bike did not shift properly and rode strangley. As a customer, it would have been easy to steer me toward a new bike.
Nick listened, proposed new wheels and drivetrain. He was patient and brought his own bike in and let me ride it. This allowed me to understand the point of the upgrades. Nick owned the build end to end. It was a fun process.
The end result: the bike is better than any new bike I could purchase for the money, and I learned something. Nick was 100% right and understood his customer. It's not just Nick -- this shop will meet you where you are for any bike related advice. Don't hesitate to stop in if you have questions.

Staff member Tyler was informative and provided many helpful tips that made our ride enjoyable.
You can see and test ride the different rental options before your ride right out of the back of their warehouse and non-busy parking lot.
They have a good selection of bikes available to rent in varying styles and features.
Convenient location with minimal difficulty navigating to various bike paths.

“I highly recommend bike lessons with Alicia! We signed up my 7 year old son, who was afraid to try biking without training wheels. Alicia was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and great with kids. She was so encouraging, and she guided him to learn one skill at a time till he was pedaling like a pro by the end of the lesson.”
