“This place rules. I brought my bike in for some new tires and tubes, and it's so nice to have a convenient place with all the tools and gear to work on your bike. Even though it turned into hours of work (I mean, since I've already started working on it why not replace a few other things while I'm there...) the staff was just terrific. Sebastian was super helpful in providing guidance on which tools to use and how to do some repairs I was less familiar with. He was very kind and knowledgeable. He also very gently pointed out a few mistakes I had made years ago installing some components. What can I say, I'm no expert and mostly self taught 😂 I ended up replacing tires, tubes, rim tape, brake cable and channels, rear shifter, and shifter cable for just over $100 dollars, which felt was a very reasonable cost. Now my bike is back up and running better than ever. Since I spent so much time there, I overheard the rest of the staff helping numerous customers with their bike needs, and everyone was just so darn friendly and helpful. It was a very nice place to spend a few hours. I did hear that currently their stock is a bit lower than usual since they've been busy with other community projects and haven't been building as many bikes, but it sounds like that will change soon. They have DIY nights on Tuesdays with even more in depth assistance from the staff, and I definitely will be checking that out. I've had another bike sitting for years in my garage that needs to finally be completed. Recovery is a terrific place to find yourself a decently priced bicycle, or the parts to fix/upgrade the one you already have. Highly recommend checking them out!”
