“The cutest little Christian store in the area! There's so much to chose from. From items with quotes, to clothing items, children's toys, Christmas items, kitchen items, jewelry, books, journals, and so much more! We went here looking for a few gifts for someone we know that just lost her mom and we found the perfect candle and devotional book. The employees are very friendly and there if you have any questions. The price range varies depending on the item. You can find things that are reasonable priced to more expensive pieces. I loved the cozy atmosphere. This is a store you could walk around over and over again and find things you didn't see before!”

“I first walked into the IDC during the height of the pandemic and said I needed to furnish a newly purchased townhome, that I knew what I wanted but that I intensely dislike shopping. During the following months Dawn and Denise could not have been more helpful. They not only heard what I was saying, they listened. My time was never wasted and I was never pressured but was shown items in keeping with what I had said I needed and wanted. I do not live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area so considerable communication took place by phone and email with Dawn always keeping Denise current as related to items under consideration and decisions made while Denise did the same with Dawn. Not once was there even the slightest miscommunication. When we learned due to the pandemic the factory in Finland had stopped making dining tables and chairs Denise contacted someone at the factory to ask if they could please make the one table and 4 chairs I wanted from stock on hand AND THEY DID!!! I was grateful beyond words to think she had done this and that those at the factory had agreed. Three times Kevin and Rick delivered items to my home and each time I was impressed by their work habits. Kevin is extremely skilled/talented and a strong leader and I appreciated how he appropriately mentored Rick relating to why things were being done as they were. Every piece was placed exactly where I wanted and I know had I not been happy they'd have moved them. Whether ordered from Finland or Norway or bought off the floor, I could not be more pleased with the quality of the many pieces from the IDC and as important, could not be happier with the experience I had working with Dawn, Denise, Kevin and Rick. They were exceptional.”

“Westdale Floral did an AMAZING job with not only the floral arrangements I ordered for Valentine’s Day but also the CUSTOMER SERVICE was awesome. Basically they called to see if we were around as the flowers would have been ruined because of the outside temperature. So on the second attempt which was now Valentine’s Day, I had given them the wrong address. They went above and beyond to clear up what was clearly a mistake on my part to assure my wife received her flowers!”

“This is a difficult review to write because Bachman's usually does such a good job. I'm adding a star for past performance. I ordered a multi-colored rose bouquet for Valentine's Day 2024 and picked it up at the store on Valentine's Day. They were in a vase and wrapped in plastic. When I removed the plastic at home, 4 of the roses immediately fell to the side. 2 of the lighter colored roses had already begun to brown. They didn't last. These roses should have been sold or discarded 3-4 days before the day they were sold to me.”

“I stopped in to Antiques on Mainstreet to find specific items to use for shelf decorations, like old books. It's always tough going in to an antique shop with specific needs as you never know what you'll find. Anyway, the store is two levels and set up with individual stalls for each vendor. The basement has a large collection of books but unfortunately they were a bit high for me (although totally fair priced). Good variety of items although it felt like at the moment, they had less decor and more collectibles, broadly speaking. The workers were all nice and offered to let me put my items down while I shopped. Definitely a place to stop by if you're on the hunt for antiques or just enjoy browsing!”

“I always enjoy strolling through this store, as well as the one at Eden Prairie Center. I always find items that I don't see anywhere else, and the folks who work there are helpful but never overbearing. While I was at the Ridgedale store on 1/25/20, I found some cute ornaments on the clearance table. Otgon T. was working at the counter, and saw that I was carrying them around. She approached me with something in her hand, and told me that she saw that I liked those ornaments, and wondered if I had seen another set (same ornaments, just miniature) that she had. I was impressed and happy and impressed that she went out of her way to help me with a clearance item. I didn't need yet another reason to come back to shop again at Home & Beyond, but Otgon provided me with one anyway. A wonderful shopping experience!”

“I love this sweet little store! It has a nice selection of gifts and books with a range of prices. I only make it in about once a year but the owner always remembers me. It's also nicely located near a coffee shop and some food places so you can grab a book and go relax with a hot drink to enjoy your purchase. “WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT AN INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!I purchased a throw for my wife for Christmas. When I purchased on the Faribault Mill website, I was informed the product was in stock and would be confirmed to be delivered to me by Christmas via two day shipping. 6 days had elapsed so I decided to call Faribault Mill to see what the status of my order was. Their website somehow directed me to Ms. Schluter, the Assistant Store Manager at the Excelsior location. After a brief period of hold on the phone, she came back to me with bad news. The company over sold the specific throw I wanted by exactly 1. Naturally it was mine. I assumed (wrongfully) I was going to be up a creek. Ms Schluter came up with two options, one was a simple refund for the purchase (not too helpful 3 days before Christmas), the second was, she had one last display model she had in store however it would not be delivered until after the Holiday. Luckily I have a Fedex account and Ms. Schluter went ABOVE AND BEYOND and allowed me to email her an overnight (Saturday delivery on a Holiday) label via email then she personally walked to a Fedex drop off location (before final pick up to ensure I would receive it before the holiday) down the street from her store. In todays ecommerce market, you WILL NEVER find this level of personal experience that I received from Faribault Mill and more specifically Ms. Schluter. I cannot express how amazing of an experience this has turned into and it is something that will stick with me for a long time and will always be referred to when anyone asks about the company or my throw.THANK YOU AGAIN SO SO SO MUCH!!!!!”

“I love the vibes and super nice employees. However, I would like to address an issue regarding one of their products, and that would be their Crystal Infused Soy Wax Candles. I love the smell and the colorful crystals, but I am not happy with it only having one wick. It doesn't last long, which makes the whole thing going to waste because there is so much wax left behind. I really think that a huge candle like that should have 3 wicks.If there is someone that associated with this company reading this review, I (and probably others who love this candle as well!) would appreciate it if this would be taken into consideration, because these kind of products are expensive and I hate to see other people's money go down the drain after just a couple of weeks.”

“I came in here looking to get info on a sewing machine. Talked to Monica in the sewing department and she gave me so much information on what brand would be best for a newbie like me. Purchased it and it sat, for months, due to lack of ambition in starting a new hobby. Fast forward a few months and i decide to finally use it. Get it all setup and struggle with figuring out the bottom bobbin. Called the store to see if i could come in and have them help me. Figured my machine was broken or something. Michelle told me to bring it in anytime after 130 and she would help me through it. I came in, she walked me through it and come to find out i purchased the wrong size bobbins for the machine. She taught me how to correctly thread it, ahowed me that the machine has a self thread device and got me the correct bobbins for future use. Ive never received this amazing of service anywhere else. These 2 ladies were so amazing and helpful each time ive been in.”
