09/2024: Unfortunately, the monthly rental cost has been increasing and we pay 40% more than our friends who rented about 2 weeks before us. The costs are on the higher end and a few times the gate or doors have been broken/inaccessible. The climate controlled units are still great themselves though.”

“I’ve been with this facility for about 3 months and have had a good experience. The manager Jonathan was attentive and answered my many questions. Other staff I’ve interacted with have been good as well. The facility is well lit, clean, and seems secure. It’s conveniently located and convenient to access. It’s also nice to be able to pull into the “garage” to be shielded from the elements! My only concern is the wording in the lease agreement surrounding rate changes. I want to iterate this is surely written at the corporate level vs management at each Extra Storage facility. Also want to highlight I have not experienced any rate changes. I will update my review if/when I do though.”

“I rented a 10x10 unit for my work tools & materials before we moved to the area from 30 miles away to get closer to my partner’s office. Soon realized that I’d be better off with a 10x20 unit so I could build some custom free-standing shelving & get all my tools & other work stuff, my personal auto repair & hunting stuff & our seasonal decorations & other home stuff in one well organized unit. The site manager helped me find a bigger unit that was closer to where I can park my truck. Being able to pull inside a climate-controlled building & load/unload stuff during cold MN winters & on hot summer days is awesome.”

“I rent a lot of U-Haul‘s because I own a Moving Company. Shakopee, mini storage is the best U-Haul neighborhood dealer in the Metro area. I would rather rent from them than a couple of the U-Haul franchise locations. They have a lot of trucks available and their after hours Key system is always accurate.”

“I 100% recommend using Doug, Brent and Graham!! They contacted me the day before they came, ensured that the location was correct and made sure the I was aware of the timeframe that they would be coming.
Upon arrival, they were organized, efficient and willing to accommodate where I wanted certain things. Boxes were labeled correctly and all pieces of my furniture were covered in plastic.
They are also pretty funny which is a huge win for me!! Again, I recommend them 100%! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about them!!”
“Luna at the Plymouth Public Storage is the GOAT and a real peach. I went in for a simple lock removal and she already had my info pulled up before I even walked in. Not only was the service fast but she proactively reviewed my eligibility for a lowered monthly rate and it was lowered by more than $20! She is professional and brings some serious Southern charm to Plymouth. If you need storage go see her because she actually cares about her customers and their wallets. 10/10!”

“Mark was great!!!!! I picked up a 12 foot trailer and Mark was awesome. I had not towed anything in so longe I had forgotten where my receiver and cable were, but Mark found them for me. The best part of all, he realized my hitch was too low to the ground and went back to the shop to switch the bulb to the top side so it would ride higher. Can't recommend enough. Mark and other employees are always friendly.”
“All good! Very clean. Very secure. I've been renting a space for six months and I just signed on for a second six months. They give a 5% discount for paying the rent up front. (8% if you pay for 12 months in advance.) Although there isn't someone answering the phone 24/7, they return my calls promptly.”

Location is excellent and prices are good.. a little higher than other places but convenient and location was perfect for me.
Also, my unit is spacious in comparison to my other 10x20 this one has much more space vertically which is nice for tall items and larger things .
