The delivery driver waited for me when I was running a few minutes late and rolled a fully assembled snow blower right off the truck. He brought it into my garage and even walked me through how everything works — personal tutorial was fantastic! Ace Hardware in Excelsior went above and beyond, and I couldn’t be happier with the service!”

They've never been out of stock anytime I've ever been there or needed anything. Which is very important as a contractor. I just never know when i'll have to stop in and grab someone. I can usually get in and out in 5 min which is important to me(even though I wanna look around longer). Plain and simple great place to shop. “This will have to be my new go-to home improvement store. I went in needing very specific light bulbs and some blinds cut. A guy in the lighting department knew exactly what light bulbs I needed and took me to the blinds and cut them. Like, when do you ever go to a store and find someone who can help you find everything you need? Great customer service, I'll be back just for that.”

“Wow, great service! I needed a 10 pound food grade CO2 tank exchange and the brew shop only carries 5 pound tanks. When I walked in the door the guy walked out of the back room with exactly what I needed, apparently he saw the tank as I got it out of my trunk and he went to get it before I even opened the door!”
“This store is absolutely amazing. They have everything you could possibly need for any type of animal except reptile/fish. They have a ton of stuff for hunting and everything you could possibly need for outdoors. They have a large clothing, selection, shoe collection and a nice clearance area. The customer experience is unmatched. I walked in the door and was welcomed with some breakfast samples. Then I noticed free popcorn for customers, which was awesome. They also had a caramel apple station which was also free. Then on our way out after a few hours, we were able to get free hotdogs. I went didn’t expecting to spend maybe five dollars and ended up spending over 70 because of how awesome this place and because of the great deals!”
“I returned an air compressor (purchased online-still under warranty) due to a small leak. The mechanic at the Minnetonka store looked at it right away and was able to make a repair........as I waited! The mechanic and all other staff were super friendly and helpful. I did not have to make a return trip. Thank you!!”

“Lowe's is a good store although the entrance doors always confuse me. the entrance and exits are not like ordinary stores such as home Depot or Menards they say emergency exit when there's no other way to go out kind of confusing not a huge deal but they are not as cheap as Menards and are comparable to Home Depot they are a bit closer to my house so I no longer go to home Depot mostly Lowe's”
“Always helpful. I always got a weird project and just need small things, a few bolts or a small can of paint. I like that I can walk there get my things and keep moving. If they don't have something they will give suggestions on where to check next. Way easier than walking around a big box store for an hour.”
“Stopped today to get a start of flowers for the yard. Great selection and lots of healthy looking plants. Their vegetables and herbs are out, and they had a good selection as well. The cashier was very friendly and was very careful with the plants as she checked us out.”
“Ali is the man! I came in looking for shepherds hook for my wife's birthday gift. She loves birds and we are working on our backyard. She is also pregnant and doesn't have much energy beyond enjoying the weather. I went inside and was immediately directed to Bay 1 for the product.
It wasnt there. Ali saw me looking at my phone and offered to help, stopping his task at hand. We went over together and he couldn't find it either. He called the manager despite my efforts to assure him it was ok. They found out they were still packed on a pallet. I thought that would be it. No, Ali got the forklift, grabbed the pallet and unloaded it to get my product.
Dude, 8:03AM on a Thursday. What an absolutely amazing worker. Ali and the manager deserve all the praise in the world. Thanks for going above and beyond!!”
