“I first bought from them at the sioux falls reptile expo to get feeders for my crested gecko and my tree frogs. I was quite happy with them so I placed a recurring order for crickets as well as a large cricket enclosure setup. The crickets arrived in great condition and well-packed. The setup really will help keep my crickets healthy and thriving in between shipments. Really happy with them!”
“Sean did a great job trimming my two dogs' nails with the mobile service. They are large dogs and don't really like their nails trimmed, but he got it done.”
“The place is clean. Staff are great. The hours of operation need to be modified. We just drove a half hour one way because it says they are open till 8 but the staff said they actually close the self clean at 7 but the shopping area closes at 8. Waste of a drive, time, and gas. Very frustrating.”

“I had to return cat food I recently purchased as my cat threw up 5 times after eating it within 2 days and 1 1/2 cups of food. The customer service employee made the return seamless and stress free. She was very helpful helping find the previous cat food I purchased before the recent purchase as i could not recall the name of it. She was absolutely great!”

“Recently, this pet supplies store is under new ownership and it has definitely changed for the better. The shelves are fully stocked and the store was neat and clean. Not only those improvements but the two new owners, Zach and Thad, were actually unloading boxes and working hard themselves, which I found impressive. I had an issue with the online loyalty program not working correctly (from previous ownership), they immediately made it right. Excellent customer service. Definitely highly recommend this Pet Supplies Plus.”

“I have never been to this particular Chuck and Don’s for pet grooming. But, thought I’d give it a try. Sally was fabulous! She carefully listened to everything I asked her to do and she also cleaned our dogs teeth better than anyone else has ever done. We made two new appointments immediately so that we could get on her schedule. She is very popular for a good reason! Would highly recommend.”
“Service here is incredible. Staff is always friendly, and I love popping in before dining at keys to greet kitties up for adoption or pick out a new dog toy.I feed my dog raw, but I like to have a dry food backup for traveling or simply for days we forget to thaw pup's meal. Finding a kibble that's NOT toxic is tough, and it's more challenging to find ones that are balanced and nutritious. We previously fed ORIJEN, but since Purina bought in them 2023, I've heard scary reports of the new formula making dogs sick. EEEK!So I was on a hunt for an ORIJEN alternative. I researched several products online in advance.CAUTION: If you feed your pet foods with more raw ingredients and negligible preservatives, you must ENSURE THE BAG IS AIRTIGHT, or your pet could get sick from the deteriorating food. (I learned the hard way; a bag that was shipped to me from another seller had "popped" the seal, and I didn't think through how critical the airtight factor was.)In an effort to confirm the "airtight" factor and quality ingredients, I decided that an in-person visit to Chuck's was necessary. Staff was very helpful for grabbing bags and reading/comparing labels with me. My finalists were Open Farm RawMix, Farmina N&D Grain-Free Quinoa | Digestion, and Farmina N&D Venison | Skin & Coat. While I love the freeze-dried component of Open Farm's RawMix, their bags were somewhat loose fitting. The Farmina bags were vacuum-packed with no question of freshness, so I opted for Farmina. Chuck has a satisfaction guarantee and was surpringly the same price or less than Chewy or Amazon, which also made me feel better about the choice. (To the two ladies that helped me out, THANK YOU so much!)For raw feeders out there, I highly recommend Chuck's for picking a good dry food back up! They also have freezers with raw patties (fully balanced), fermented goat's milk, and more.I also love Chuck's diverse selection of antlers and chews. They have some XL antler panels, which are rare to find and critically needed for the larger breed dogs to sufficiently enjoy before it become bone broth scraps. I love the 5-foot meat sticks for just $9. (See photo.) The gigantic size is so entertaining. My dog's eyes lit up like a kid on Christmas morning when she saw me with them. Ha!Chuck's has a decent selection of dog toys. They have added more larger profile toys to the mix, which my German Shepherd greatly appreciates. The mammoth with a tennis ball in the tummy is my pup's new favorite squishy. (See photo.)Overall, I think they take "Are you a friend of Chuck's?" to heart. I appreciate their genuine love/interest in my dog and their commitment to offering in good quality foods, toys, and supplies. We vote two paws up!”
“Bob is amazing. He has a huge assortment of bird feeders and seed mixtures for birds you wish to attract. Prices are fair and his customer service is excellent he is a veratible encyclopedia of avian knowledge. The road to get to his store is not for the faint of heart - single lane twisty gravel path for about a mile. It can be done in a regular passenger car but don't take a large RV down there!”

“We signed up for sit means sit because our dog was constantly pulling and sniffing on walks like we did not exist. We did a six week program with Ryan and Pat and we got way more than what we paid for they train very well with an E collar And just after six weeks, my dog can now heel, Sit, place, come, eye contact all on command. she was a shelter dog and we had her for a little over a half a year and they did change her in so many ways cannot recommend this company enough. They come to you for a one hour session once a week and let you do the rest. It was very affordable and Ryan and Pat are great people.”

“I ordered curbside pickup because I am injured and cannot walk well and have a torn rotator cuff so carrying a large bag of food would be rather difficult for me at this time. When I arrived at the Roseville location I opened the petco app and hit the “I’m here” button and it said someone would be right out with my order. No one came out .. after 10 minutes I attempted to call the store and I got a prerecorded message saying the store was closed at this time, even though it clearly was not - it was 8 they closed at 9 and there were still other customers going in and out of the store with purchases. I looked the phone number up just to double check I had the correct store and called again same thing. After 25 minutes I made my way inside and a girl was standing there doing nothing right by the front entrance and I explained my situation. Her response was “well the app doesn’t work to notify us you have to call”. I told her I did and that it said they were closed. She didn’t have any idea what to say … she went to get my order and another woman walked up and asked if I had been helped and before I could even respond she was gone. The girl came back with the order so much as threw the large bag of food and other item I had purchased at me and said “here ya go”. Not can I help you to the car.. not do you need help carrying this… not can I get you a cart even!! She literally stood and watched as I limped out of the store barely hanging into the bag of dog food. Some people are Absolutely not fit for customer service or even jobs with the general public at all. She was one of those people. I will not go back and I will drive to a further away location to make sure I don’t run into her again. Ridiculous!!!!”

She was able to assist with dogs of all kinds of breeds, backgrounds, and personalities. She is great at what she does and I would highly recommend the class. We will back for the intermediate course.
We also recently worked with Lisa in the grooming salon. She is kind and does excellent work. I absolutely trust her to take good care of my dog and make her look great.”

“They had a lot of this my cats needed and a lot of things I wanted for my cats, but I know better than them! I wish they did have a larger descending brush selection? Maybe there were some in the dog area, but having a medium hair cat warrants it.
