“The staff are so wonderful! I have a permanent puppy elderly dog. He’s so energetic and sometimes a bit much for people. The staff here are patient and understand his energy and deep neeeeeed for everyone’s attention (he’s super outgoing). He’s always excited to go to the Vet and see his friends. I know he receives amazing care from people who genuinely love what they do. My dog is really my child and I completely trust he’s in good hands when under their care. “They cared for my old 15 year old Malinois and when the time came for him to cross the bridge they helped all of us. They put a blanket for him, gave me some cat treats and then they gave him cheese in an aerosol thing. He died quickly but so happy. He had no idea. When we picked up his ashes they were in a beautiful wood box, a sweet card with his fur in it, a clay paw pressed in it, 2 pieces of paper with his paw prints, his certificate of cremation, plus some pamphlet on grief. Major had no reason to be scared. This place is amazing. I forgot, they sent a card from everyone there along with sweet messages. We have even had our other two dogs for different things. Great place.”
“Dr Thornquist is the best vet I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. I think she loves my dog(s) nearly as much as I do! She was a godsend with my last dog who lived with a deadly chronic illness that needed daily and monthly meds. She helped me help Maia. She is an incredible blessing.”

“Brought my dog Lola here for a wellness exam on November 1st and the techs were so kind! They were very open about all vaccines that were available for her and priced them out for me and when I mentioned that price was an issue for me, the vet (can’t remember her name, sorry!) asked me about my dog’s living situation and helped me come to a logical conclusion for what would be the best for my dog and my budget. I let the techs know that my dog is dog reactive and also may be difficult for nail trims and they were extremely accommodating and understanding. I also enjoyed my conversation with the front desk staff while waiting for Lola to have her nails trimmed! 10/10 would recommend if you are looking for a vet that is open and honest with pricing and also sweethearts to your dog.”

“City Cat Clinic has been my vet for about 20 years. A long time. I don't live close now but it would be hard to change vets. For one thing, I like the cats only clinic. No barking dogs to stress out my cats. My main vet has been Dr. Runquist since the beginning. I can tell she genuinely cares about my cats' health. She's aware of my financial situation and so doesn't always push the most expensive testing. The techs and front desk are all so friendly and competent. Highly recommended.”
“The people here were so nice and respectful to me. They used they/them pronouns to refer to me and I didn't ask them to do so, they were just being respectful as I look semi androgynous. This made me feel really comfortable and welcome. I felt very listened to and they answered all questions I had thoroughly. The vet was really helpful and had a lot of great information for me and was really nice. I liked everyone I interacted with here and I really feel like they love and care about animals as much as I do. Definitely recommend.”

The techs and desk team members are always friendly and do a great job. I feel so good about how the rest of our 15 year old dog's life will be with Dr. Norberg's help & expertise.”
“I am so impressed and touched with Uptown Veterinarian! Before I had established care anywhere, I had called around to several vets recently asking for advice because one of my cats sniffed a lily (which can be lethal even just from sniffing!). The next day, I got the sweetest voicemail from their practice manager, Blanca, asking about my cat by name and how she was holding up, and saying she hoped the lily scenario didn’t ruin my valentine’s day. Uptown Veterinarian checked back in despite me not even being a client—they truly just wanted to know my cat was okay. I ended up taking her in that day after the incident, and they were able to run bloodwork so quickly. Thankfully, my cat is fine, but everyone I interacted with here was so kind and Blanca even made a point of coming down to meet my cat as I was leaving. Truly outstanding service and care, at a level which is kind of unheard of these days! I will absolutely be taking all my pets here moving forward.”

“We took our small breed dog here for a suspected ripped duclaw. Not only was the receptionist upon calling for an appointment friendly and helpful (she offered to have us send a picture to see if they could access it first that way), but the vet was also amazing. Very knowledgeable and you could tell veterinary care is her passion. Pricing was more than reasonable, especially considering the quality of care. This has certainly become our new vet.”
