Tried to mail a letter in my mailbox, two days in a row they put the flag down without taking the letter

I was alittle saddened by the mail today They left my package on my front step
I would've fit into my locked mailbox I felt saddened because the post office is always so good at putting my small packages in my lock box

I love our local post office! The staff are always patient, friendly, helpful, and polite. I drive out of my way to stop at this location. Thanks team!!
