“I had visited 6 other jewelers and 2 antique shops looking for a coral or jade pair of earrings. Monique of Switzerland was my final stop before giving up on getting my wife a 35th anniversary gift. I asked Monique if she had anything in coral or jade ( jade is a substitute for coral which is now endangered due to global warming), she smiled and told me the first pieces of jewelry she important in the 1970's was coral and jade. She actually had a pair of 70's coral earrings which is what I had been looking for. Then she gave an elegant box, colorful tissue paper and a.perfect gift bag for my anniversary gift. We settled on the Scottish thistle to pay homage to her four years in Edinburgh and used a diamond from her deceased grandmother's wedding ring. Jon was wonderful to work with as we designed the piece and his finished work is breathtaking.”

“Held companies is a beautiful hand made shop located in Corcoran on a rustic farm. They have a store located inside and outside the barn that offers a weird range of products. They are all hand made and all made within MN so you are supporting a local business. This store definitely has the MN vibe if that's what you are looking for!Products:They offer a wide variety of wood based products that are for use, display only, all year and seasonal. The products include walking sticks, clocks, gnomes, signs for inside your home, snow men, deer, puzzles, figures, and so much more! When you walk into the shop you ads immediately filled with joy and wonder as you see all the hand made products. They are very unique and I have never seen these type of wood figures anywhere before. Every single one is made with love and care and it really shows. When we were there we picked up a gnome, snowman, a deer, and a snowman magnet. The gnome is super cute and pretty big! We picked this one based off of the cute hat and the red beard. We also got a little deer and a snowman magnet for the fridge. They are made perfectly for how small they are look great on display! We are going to leave the magnet up all year! Our favorite piece we got was our big snowman! It's so happy looking and looks great when we put it with the rest of our Christmas stuff. It's definitely a highlight to our Christmas decorations!Overall:Definitely definitely definitely check this shop out when you have the time.
