“Called first to see if they had enough $2 bills available for my needs since it’s not as common of a bill for circulation, the nice agent who answer said they did. Grabbed my coat and went over on a Friday afternoon. It looked busy but pleasantly surprised there was no wait for the tellers. The bank is always clean and I never have to worry about how sanitary anything is.

Preface this review by saying I’ve always received good customer service at this location and never had any issues in my decades with this branch.

Was created as I walked through the door by the teller (sorry! I forgot your name and didn’t grab a receipt). She was super friendly, provided great customer service and was speedy and thorough. Originally I had accepted that I’d probably get older $2s but was pleasantly surprised when the $2s and $1s I was grabbing were all brand new, crisp bills. This is extra pleasing since I wanted to use the $2s for red envelopes for Chinese New Year.

The teller noticed I had an upcoming birthday and asked if it was okay if she and her coworkers could gather to sing happy birthday to me. I appreciate that she asked first and just didn’t do it. With everything happening I said sure thinking they weren’t serious. Turns out they were serious and that it’s something offered at this branch location. So that’s the TLDR story of how Wells Fargo bankers and tellers sang happy birthday to me at the bank. Talk about personalized service.

“I have to give a huge shout out to Jessie and Lorraine at the cottage grove branch. We had recently had a school fundraiser with so many coins that the coin counter kept needing maintenance. Jessie helped us several times before a client came in and then Lorraine stepped in and even got us cups to use so we didn’t have to keep touching all the coins. They were both so friendly and patient and we cannot thank them enough for helping! Another shout out goes to the man who has to count cash that had previously been rolled up and even dealt with a donated dollar bill that had been bedazzled which caused issues with counting. Service here is absolutely top notch!”
