“I had a WONDERFUL experience at NM designs! I showed up to the shop, panicked, 4 hours before I was flying out to go to an Indian wedding because the saree I ordered online did not fit properly. I was immediately at ease. She worked within my budget and took the time to find me a beautiful set that I felt good in. I loved the set she put together for me. She then altered the top and skirt on the spot to get me a perfect fit!!! She was kind and made the whole process fun. I wish I would have started at this shop from the beginning. “I worked with Ayeadio to create fitted, traditional 3-piece African suits for my wedding in 2026. They helped us make the wedding a dream come true. The service was excellent; Hilary was knowledgeable, culturally aware, and supportive. The prices for the suits were fair in my opinion and the the tailor was able to produce all 5 suits in less than 1 month! I was impressed with the turnaround time, the communication, and the variety of traditional attire available in the store. If you're looking for traditional African clothing, I would recommend you visit Ayeadio or, at least, reach out.”

“b. is the best. Their inventory changes regularly and they announce big deals via their Instagram when their racks get full, for example they just had a big dress sale. I can always find something here and my style and body has changed a lot in the almost 15 years I've been shopping here. They really support their community in numerous ways and are very transparent about their processes and practices. If you're looking for a super sugary customer service experience that's curated to make you feel good (ie super fake), this probably isn't your place.”
“My mom brought me to this boutique because she is a huge fan of Stacey Johnson Jewelry and I wanted some of her earrings. We loved all of the fun and unique items the store has.
I bought some earrings and had a small issue with them when I got home. The boutique worked with Stacey to repair the earrings and then makes them to my home out of state.
The customer service was above and beyond to say the least from our time in the store to out of it. I highly recommend this store and will be making a stop here in my MN trips from now on!”

“This shop is a literal gem! I love these stores that sell crystals and teas and books, etc, but all the ones I have found so far are quite a trek through a lot of traffic. Really just too far away, unfortunately, to visit very often. I live in the Hopkins area, and just recently found this adorable little store practically in our own back yard! The owner was such a lovely person; very warm and welcoming. My daughter and I had a lot of fun going from room to room, seeing all the beautiful items and saying hello to the little River Frog in the aquarium. I will definitely make this store a regular place to visit from now on, and I hope other people find their way here too. It's truly is a charming, magical place.”

Affordable embroidery that allows you to customize thread colour. Great local HS and north graphic tees available. Perfect for local gift giving! I love the Sota Shop!”
