“Noticed a defect in a new Skol hat I bought from Sota at the state fair when I got home. Went to this St. Louis Park store the next day to see if they would exchange it. They didn’t have that specific hat since everything went to the fair, so he just made me a new one on the spot in 5 minutes. Best customer service ever. Love this brand. Love their people.”

Before coming to Amanda with my weft hair extensions and blonde hair… I honestly had super bad anxiety going to hair salons and spending a lot of money on hair and the service to not receive what I had ask for.. so I would end up color and or bleaching my own hair and messing it up and just overall a mess.Amanda honestly does everything I ask and she makes time for me and stays later I could not ask for a better “hair therapist” while my hair is processing I get to shop in her boutique!”

“I have been looking for a dress for a wedding for a few weeks. I was very discouraged because the sales people had all been very unhelpful and rude and I'm not easy to fit. My friend told me to try Dugo. I walked in and immediately felt relieved. Alisa was there to greet me. I told her my issue and she said, don't worry, I've got you! Boy did she ever. She chose a dress I never would have thought would look good on me. The first one I tried on and it was perfect. Then she helped me find another one for a different wedding. Nancy, another sales associate helped too. They were so sweet and helpful. I ended up with 2 dresses in less than 30 minutes. I'd highly recommend this store. Friendly, helpful, understand and fun people work there. You will love your experience.”

“Dear Mostafa,Thinking of you and your family and friends after the terrible earthquake in Morocco- please know all your customers care for you and your family.Dar Medina is my favorite shopping experience- the beauty of the textiles, purses and housewares overwhelms the senses. If that is not enough, Mostafa greets you as a friend with sincere hospitality- offers Moroccan tea for all who linger and you should. Over the years, I have purchased ornate stamped red purse and wallet purse, vibrant cotton throw, leather sandals with carpet inlay, colorful geometric rug and I generally am not a shopper! All of my purchases I enjoy everyday- even wear sandals in the house in winter. Mostafa has such incredible connections to friends and family who make these beautiful handmade pieces with love and soul in Morocco. Please help the Moroccan artisans who may have been affected by the earthquake and consider stopping by and shopping at Dar Medina. Oh and I live in my cotton (not itchy) hat six months- covers and keeps my ears warm skiing- so cute!covers my ears keeps me warm skiing.”

Had a blast and loved the clothes. This time, I'm enjoying pursuing the sale on my own and taking a few favorites home. One thing about the clothes that I love is the colors. My temptation is to stick with neutral colors and I love that the styles that resonate with me here are such fun colors as well. On this trip, I chose a pair of boots and a FRNCH sweater. I loved the vintage look of the sweater and it's comfortable loose (but snaps back into shape) material. Great finds at reasonable prices. Don't forget your tote for additional savings. “Fashion Avenue has been a source of great clothing for me over many years. I think it is the best women’s consignment shop in the Twin Cities. Everything in the store is consignment, several things appear to have never been worn as they still have original sales tags on them.They only accept items in excellent condition. Every garment item is clean and looks ready to wear. I find many special occasion dresses, shoes, and purses here – and have bought more than one coat or jacket that I absolutely love.Name brands that discerning shoppers look for are consistently here, like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Neiman Marcus, Aknvas, Dior, and Gucci. I also like the brand Soft Surroundings. The owner/buyer has exceptional taste and amazing connections across to get fabulous pieces and offer fair prices. The clothing selection is what draws me in, but I’ve also found just the belt and sandals. great handbags and other accessories. A few men’s items are usually there.This is a great place to shop for one-of-a-kind, better-than-average clothing. The lighting is good for seeing true colors; sometimes I talk my potential purchase to the big front windows where natural daylight helps me make good color matches. They do provide changing rooms. All sales are final – which is important to know when making an “iffy” choice.I like supporting this consignment store and have purchased a gift card multiple times to share the experience with others.Parking can be challenging. Its location is wonderful – nice and central. The staff is also helpful and friendly.”

“I LOVE this place. I live in Missouri and have wanted to visit for a long time and finally got the opportunity a few months ago when I was in Minneapolis. It was absolutely amazing- so inclusive, wonderful staff, good organization, large size range, good prices, fans in the fitting rooms. I bought two pairs of pants off the rack that fit me, which is sometimes hard to find, and also two shirts that have become a part of my regular rotation. I really hope someday there's something similar where I live because I really had the best experience here. No notes.”

I have already gone back 2 more times!! I didn't like that the fitting rooms are closed. Why? If its covid that seems ridiculous considering there were alot of people everytime I went, Trying on clothing isn't going to spread covid any faster than walking all around everything everyone else has touched! I don't know what their reason was for closed fitting rooms tho? I didn't ask.”
