Campers enjoy a mix of on-ice training and off-ice activities, such as swimming and s'mores around the campfire. Many families return year after year, with kids forming friendships and developing a love for hockey. The accommodations, while basic, are comfortable, with options for upgraded rooms in dormitory units. The camp emphasizes respect and teamwork among players, fostering a positive environment. Campers leave with improved skills, cherished memories, and a desire to return. Heartland Hockey Camp is recognized as a hidden gem, making it highly recommended for youth hockey players seeking a fun and impactful experience.
Its rustic, its not the 4 season, for kids its perfect. Don't expect cucumber water and French pastries.

My 2nd year PeeWee first time attending. He loved every minute of it. He couldn’t wait to tell us about all his new friends. Things he learned on and off the ice. Biggest thing he took away was character development. He said he can’t wait to be a coach/counselor some day. Great job, team!

I grew up on this ice in the 80’s and now my son goes here every year for camp. Absolutely amazing place. We miss coach Steve but it’s still Heartland!
