“I lived directly next to this place years ago and returning to it, it's really held its charm for so long. If organization is important to you, maybe this wouldn't be your favorite place to shop. But if you're looking to widen your horizons, this place has such a fun variety and so much to browse.”
“Went to find my favorite Bible study pastor Kelly K of kellykministries and they had three copies so I bought all three. One for me, two to bless others. Store was clean. Lines were short. Heard someone who couldn't find their book get one ordered for them and sounded like an easy and quick process. Overall pleased with my purchase and experience shopping there”
“One of my favorite bookstores - thoughtfully curated, in a nice space. I always get a few to several books when we come up north, and some of my favorites in the past few years have been from here.”
“Went to the bookstore recently for some UMD merch and they did not disappoint. A lot of options between shirts, hats, jackets and anything you can think of. Really cool bulldog statue is outside one of the entrances.”
“Give great philosophy books for 5 bucks, half of which was "keep the change." Probably shouldn't even say that, lest all the philosophy nerds come in droves to ransack my philosophy section.”
“Amazing selection of toys, gags, PUZZLES, and games. Very diverse and great layout. Love the "General store" section. I felt like Pee-Wee in his Big Adventure. As an adult I loved reminiscing and we found something we "needed": juggling balls!! Come to this store for all your entertainment needs!!”
“10/10 will visit every time I'm in Duluth and recommend to everyone. I seriously cannot believe I didn't know about this place for the last 7 years. They ship!! They have used books shelved in section right alongside the new! I found a stack of gems I'm so happy with. The LGBTQIA+ section and vibes were top notch. The puzzle selection was astounding and the selection of new books were great too. Seriously good buyers here and a must-visit for any book lover.
Parking: street parking, we parked in the 1-2 hours only and were fine.Accessibility: No stairs leading into the store, so it is wheelchair accessible. Some of the aisles were a little narrow but overall it was a very navigatable store.”
