“My Jeep broke down on the way to work and Acar Auto Rental saved the day. The rental was ready immediately and everyone was so friendly. I was able to get on the road and to work and did not have to take a whole day of PTO. They were also flexible with the timeline of the rental, so I was able to keep the rental until my Jeep was repaired. Vehicle problems are super stressful, but thanks to the folks at Acar Rental, it wasn't too overwhelming or stressful! Thanks again!”

“Smooth process, went to the lower level of the Duluth Airport and checked in at the National Counter. Received the key and walked across to the parking structure found the car in the space as indicated it should be. After completing my rental, returned to the Duluth airport and parked in the designated National spaces, returned the keys to the counter and hopped on my plane to the next destination. Friendly service at the counter on both occasions! Did not have to wait very long either. Car was clean and no issues during the trip.”

“Exceptional experience at the Duluth International Airport Avis. I had to extend my rental by a couple of days, and the manager handled the adjustment manually to ensure I stayed at a fair, consistent rate rather than getting hit by automated system penalties.
It’s rare to find a desk where the staff uses their experience to actually help the customer. The car (2025 CX-5) was a dream—great on gas and very comfortable for long hauls. Highly recommend this location if you value professional service and honesty. A huge win for my trip!”

Gus was quick friendly and best of all he knew exactly what kind of vehicle would fit my needs and still have me looking fresh on my journey! I appreciate his work tremendously.
