I called to make a payment on my due date spoke with a rep who insured me the cut off time was still in place I repeatedly asked are you sure she yes you won't get a late fee if you pay now ? the payment went through and she assured me several times the payment was before cut off time..well I just got my statement and I got a late fee I called and gave them her name and her ID number the rep said I will put that through and the late fee should be reversed the same day.and I should recieve a text reflecting that...well nope called today and spoke with a manager very very rude and he told me no it was after cutoff time which she stated it wasn't when I made pmt ..so I'm out of 30 dollars and basically lied to ..im very dissatisfied and have been a customer for years.!!! I was basically lied to and they won't reverse the late fee..I never had problems with any other cc companies !!!

I wish there was a way to give zero stars. Maurice’s has the absolute worst customer service. Placed an order using a gift card. I received several emails saying I owed for my order. Called customer service and was told my order was being shipped. Then I received two other emails that my order was cancelled. First email, customer service assured me my order was in the process of shipping. So today August 5th 2024, received another email that order had been cancelled. Called back again, I was told that I had to wait 48 hours to receive another gift card since the order was cancelled. I told them I didn’t want a refund, I wanted my order. I was told I had to pay a different way or wait on the gift card to be emailed to me.. Angry and dissatisfied is an under statement. I have been dealing with this for the past three weeks.

I went in there about a week ago looking for an item. Nobody ever acknowledged that I was even in the store I didn't even know there was somebody in the store until I looked over and saw the two workers behind the counter sitting on their butts on their phone. They never looked up to acknowledge me never asked if they could help me in fact never said anything to me. Worst customer service that I have ever experienced in my life

I would also give a zero. The employee that rang me up was very snotty and hateful. I tried to explain my payment method and she refused to finish my transaction. She said when I can pay for everything at once then I can come back. She said I could not use a gift card plus my debit card, snatched the bag off the counter like I was about to grab it and run. I was so embarrassed. I will never go there again. She treated me like trash.

An interview was held with a potential employee and was told that they were looking for a fashion icon. Someone who was up on the latest styles. Their styles are similar to Walmart! How iconic do you have to be. It’s a store for middle aged women. Reconsidering how I shop there since I am middle age and have never seen fashion icons when I have shopped. Young women should be impowered and to be knocked down. Such a disgrace.

I’m saddened and so disappointed after walking into a Maurice’s store today. The staff was great and always have been no matter the location. But over the last few years the quality of the clothing Maurice’s puts out has gone down so greatly that I will no longer shop there. They were the first store that made me love my size and feel confident in my curves. Now, the clothing falls apart while it’s still on the rack, fabrics are cheap and uncomfortable, and the shoes are poorly made and provide no support. I hope there comes a day when I can change this 1-star to a 5.

I purchased two pairs of their sneakers at the same time but they only had one pair in my size in the store; they had to send the other pair by mail. I thought nothing of it, we all purchase our stuff online with no issues. I have now learned; JUST NOT FROM MAURICES. Never again! I didn't like the mailed pair so I took them back to the store where I purchased them;, in the original packaging for which I received them - all tags included. The totally rude clerk immediately tells me that WITHOUT the receipt she will only be able to give the lowest price in a store credit and not what I paid. I told her I paid $18.69, how much lower can you go? I asked her to look it up on her computer as I'm sure I'll still receive my full refund. She becomes ruder and tells me again, WITHOUT even looking that I'll receive the lowest price because I have no receipt. Remember- ALL TAGS AS I RECEIVED THEM ARE STILL ON THE DAMN SHOES! She's not smart enough to scan the tags, use my credit card and phone number to figure out that I purchased these shoes?? Walmart, Costco, Sam's Club are smarter than Maurice's?? NEVER BUY FROM THESE STUPID PEOPLE!!

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Ordered back in November 2023, returned either end of Nov or beginning of Dec 2023. We are now in April 2024 and I have yet to receive my refund. I have no idea how this store is still in business with all of the negative reviews I see here and the experience that I have had. I will never order from here again. Every time I call or email, I’m told they are very sorry, from their "offshore" customer service center in the Phillipines I believe. They will escalate the issue and have someone get back to me, nobody ever has. This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I will never order from here again. I placed an order in August 2023 for pickup in store. The store never received it and told me to contact Corporate to get refunded. It has been five months and I still have not been refunded. Every time I call or email, I’m told it has been escalated but they do not have a timeframe for resolution. They claim the refund was processed but never went through on the backend. Nothing makes sense. I’m tired of calling but I want my money back. It’s ridiculous and horrible customer service.

This is the second order they screwed up within two weeks. Cannot get through customer service and when you do they put you on hold and then your disconnected. Will dispute these charges with my credit card company!!!

Ordered 6 pairs of leggings. Received a sweater we never ordered, but it came under the order number of our leggings order. i was told their distribution center "does this all the time" sending items not ordered then charge customers. I brought the sweater in, explaining we did not order this and yet we were charged for the product we ordered but did not receive. They made me speak to someone at a Care Center, only to be told the items we ordered were no longer available in the size we needed. After 45 frustrating minutes of trying to explain they charged our card for items not received I was told they would refund the amount. A month later and no refund on the card. The store has the original receipt, I showed them the credit card transaction with their name on it for the amount. They still won't refund without a credit card survey to prove in an audit we actually were charged. I told them they are committing fraud by accepting payment for product not sent. Disputing the charges now with credit card company. We placed the order in store with the associate. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY ESPECIALLY ONLINE!

Terrible shopping experience.... even worse Customer Service. I have tried 2 times to online order. The 1st was delivered to my home and was not what I ordered. The 2nd, was ship to store and was supposedly delivered to the store and they never got it. After 3 attempts to contact customer service regarding this, I still do not have a refund.
