Solglimt Bed & Breakfast is a highly recommended and memorable place to stay in a historic building right in front of the lake. The location is excellent, within walking distance of Canal Park, the Aerial Lift Bridge, Bayfront Park, the aquarium, and the vibrant part of the city. The property is very well maintained with thoughtfully decorated details, lovely gardens, and water features. The rooms are beautiful, some with an absolutely stunning and amazing lake view. Common areas are uncommonly good, including a rooftop deck and beach access. The hosts are warm, friendly, kind, welcoming, gracious, and knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast staff is incredibly pleasant, friendly, fun, and professional. Breakfast is fantastic, delicious, and different every morning, made from scratch with no details left out, beautifully served and akin to fine dining. Nice little touches include drinks and snacks available for guests throughout the day, binoculars, and a manicured garden. It is a truly fascinating, charming, and special experience, an oasis of peace and rest.

Best Bed & Breakfast with the best views of Lake Superior and the canal. Wonderful Inn Keepers, delicious breakfast, beautiful rooms and lovely gardens. An oasis of peace and rest.

If you're looking for a nice relaxing weekend this is the place to be. The rooms are beautiful and clean and everyone treats you like family. Not only do you feel welcome but the food is amazing and the views are breathtaking. Do not miss the chance to visit this amazing place.
