“We loved this hotel so much. The room was clean. Very comfy bed with lots of pillows. Couch was comfy. Plenty of space and a gorgeous view. The hot tub and sauna were really nice, I wish the pool was a little deeper than 4 feet but it was okay. They had decent breakfast, a cute cocktail lounge that’s reasonably priced with okay food, a free s’mores bar in the evening. Customer service was so wonderful every single person we talked to was so nice.”

“We genuinely appreciate staying at Willard Munger Inn due to its warm and welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, our pets have been accommodated with us previously which made it even more special for us. Pets are integral to our family, and having them with us on vacation is essential. The rooms are clean, tidy, comfortable, and reasonably priced. The location is conveniently close to attractions and restaurants. We appreciate supporting small businesses, and William Munger is an excellent choice. We highly recommend it.”
“The Merryweather Bed and Breakfast in Duluth is an absolute gem. From the moment you arrive, you’re struck by how stunning the house is—beautifully maintained, full of character, and warm in a way that instantly makes you feel at home.
Breakfast alone is worth the stay. The smoked salmon eggs Benedict was truly outstanding—perfectly prepared and easily one of the best breakfasts I’ve had anywhere, not just at a B&B. It felt thoughtful, elevated, and made with real care.
Beth and Nik are exceptional hosts. They’re welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind, striking that perfect balance of being helpful without ever being intrusive. Their pride in the home and the experience they create really shows in every detail.

“The staff is great. Front desk is always cheerful and helpful. Tommi in particular is very nice to talk to and is very understanding. Management is accommodating and helpful. Housekeeping works their butts off to put everything back in order, everyday. The rooms are not five star quality but the price reflects that and is affordable. Rooms are clean and maintained. And they are very hospitable with the pets. Would stay again.”
“Great place to stay! Great location. Both bedrooms were large. The sauna was perfect after a chilly day of hiking. The added soaps and lotions etc were a nice treat. I will definitely stay again!”
“2nd floor carpet is prime for building a static charge to zap your wife's nose on demand.
In all seriousness though, I didn't have any of the issues I'm seeing on alot of other reviews. It was an average hotel stay. Cool carpet.”

“Quiet and close to Spirit mountain or Duluth!
Good rates. We were able to park within feet of our room entrance!
Clean large room two queen beds tv, mini fridge, small table two chairs. And control of your room temp!
Pool was great! A little chilly. With the outside temps being 10°
Hot tub was decent size. Could add a second hot tub in the pool area! Plenty of clean towels!
Morning breakfast complimentary was just as expected. Bonus waffle maker! Work out room is perfect if only a couple people in at a time. But has all you need!”
