ABF Freight charges limited access fees to fire departments. If they are willing to nickel and dime first responders, I don't think this is a company worth supporting.

I don't ship freight, never have, and decided to start a new business adventure importing some heavy equipment. From the time the package was handed off to ABF to deliver every person, Breanna was the most frequent!, was kind and understanding of all my novice questions. I appreciate their willingness to provide good customer service for people who clear don't know the ropes.
I jacked up shipping request, my fault, with the mfg company and Breanna helped me get that changed and switched from a lift gate service to a flat bed. I was quoted a price by the mfg and Brianna was willing to confirm that the price I was quoted(again as a novice) is the cost of the service confirming I wasn't getting one pulled over on me.
Breanna gave me no reason to look elsewhere for contracting additional deliverys of freight with this equipment. The delivery driver put the boxes right where they needed to go and it went very smooth.

They were supposed to deliver some TVs to my office. Communication is poor. The guy tries to drop it off with it on a pallet at the office building. I don’t have the equipment at an office building to wheel around a pallet and the guy refused to go 50 feet to the elevator to help bring it to my office space. He tells me this happens all the time. If this happens all the time, why don’t you explain to the person you are dropping it off to before trying to drop it off?! I have a lot of friends in the shipping business and I know they all go above and beyond this BS.

The communication breakdown in this organization is horrendous. They call me weekly, despite repeated explanations that I am not the purchaser nor their point of contact, for numerous departments' deliveries. It is borderline harassment as it's been going on for months. They ignore the information in my voicemail, they ignore that I'm not the person they're calling for, and they continue to do it. This has been going on for nearly six months to a year. I have been kind in the past. Now I'm refusing to respond to their calls. It's idiotic behavior on their part when working with a large organization and they have all the contact information from the purchaser on the PO! Would definitely not recommend doing business with them. Ever.

We had a great experience with our delivery. We had prompt, clear communication to set up the delivery and again right before it was delivered. The driver went above and beyond and wheeled the heavy package into our garage. We inspected the contents after and everything was intact with no issues.

They suck. There was a giant hole in the roof that they repaired with silver tape. It leaked and wrecked a bunch of our stuff and didn't want to pay us for the damages. I have pictures of the hole in the roof with that being taped up.

If I could give 100 stars I would! An all round amazing experience! Every employee I had interaction with was accommodating, kind, professional and efficient. When we needed to adjust our moving date, not a problem. And they honored the original price. NO hidden fees. U-Pack saved us 1000's over a full service moving company, and were even less than us driving ourselves. When the condo complex was concerned about the size of trucks, U-Pack did everything they could to be in and out as efficient as possible. And every person from the customer service agents to the delivery driver were so friendly and kind. Keep it up U-Pack. In a world where customer service seems to have gone downhill and inflation has skyrocketed you stand out as a rare exception of excellence! Thank you!! Recommend in every way!
