DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! People let their kids run around wherever and whenever. You drive through the parking lot slow and a kid comes charging across without looking both ways. People allow their children to play kickball inside. KICKBALL. Inside. The neighbors will blast their music. Constant smoking on the property, even with the reminders hanging absolutely everywhere. Also they say it’s a pet friendly place but don’t believe it. Not to mention the doors that are supposed to keep the residents safe are CONSTANTLY busted, which I’m starting to think it’s on purpose because not everyone here has a security fob (pfft…not like we have a buzzer or anything). Also people place objects in front of the doors to allow people to come in whenever. Things are being left in the hallways still after constant emails and paper notices. And for the last thing if you have any dogs be very cautious around the people here, your dog can be the sweetest animal in the world and people will still act like your dog is going to attack them and they will scream and yell. Not like your dog was doing anything but existing, but it may startle your animal so just be careful.

I have had one of the worst experiences here with service but Tabitha in the office as well as Gena from corporate have made a way to straighten things out in a way that is mutually beneficial. Great recovery!

My husband and I lived at fountain place for almost 5 years. We generally had a good experience and loved the neighborhood due to the walking trails. However, one incident ruined everything for us. We paid our rent on time every month ? of the time with NO fail. We used to drop off the check at the office Dropbox but one time someone at the office misplaced or basically lost the check. Instead of reaching out with good customer service especially knowing we were never late, this person decided to write a nasty and unprofessional letter basically threatening us with action for non payment! To add the cherry on the top, this person decided to highlight sections of the letter with pink highlighter because somehow a threatening letter wasn't enough and our reading comprehension was low, therefore we needed a highlighted letter. I was pregnant at that time and this absolutely infuriated me! My husband ended up going to deal with it. We shared that letter with the BBB and the owners of the complex. We ended up moving out because we had bought a house, we didn't even wait for the lease to expire. I hope they have a better office management team now.

The apartment is forcing to pay Fetch delivery charges. The fetch delivery service is worst. The Fetch lost my parcels, sometime delivering package after 4-5 days, cancelling delivery without reason. The Fetch delivery should be optional for the residence.

Don’t move in here. Not worth the jacked up prices for “luxury” The office is never in. You call them they refuse to leave messages for you. You leave voicemails and they never call you back. You email them, they never respond. Neighbors are loud and trashy (leaving trash in the hallways, even diapers) and let their kids run through the hallways at odd hours. Cops are called all the time. The building is cracking at the foundation and the stairwells flood constantly. Don’t deliver any packages here because if you’re not on top on its arrival, it’s a guarantee that it will be stolen. Location is good and that’s about it.

Things are going downhill really fast since they changed their management last year--1. Maintenance is going from bad to worse. Examples- a) Can you believe you have to pay for the curtains and blinds if you request a replacement? b) It is next to impossible to get non-functional appliances replaced.2. They got rid of the locker room/mail room. Now you can see packages thrown in the lobby. Several residents are losing their packages every day.3. They have combined rent with the Conservice bill, which fluctuates every month. Even if I have set up automatic payments, they will still send a notice for missing monthly payments for some amount + interest, which quite high.4. I don't see any snow removal from sidewalks this year.5. Additionally, you will find all the issues you can find in an old building, including pests, roaches, etc. I have many other items that I can mention. But these are related to management which can be easily fixed.

Lived here for 2.5 years and our experience here have been mostly good barring the occasional inconveniences like Triggering of False Alarms, rat entering the apartment, broken side access doors, etc., which could happen elsewhere too. The biggest plus is the location of the apartment and the beautiful trails that traverses the property. The rent we were paying was nominal compared to the other properties nearby. The washer and dryer located inside the apartment is an added advantage. We had to move out on a short notice and we cannot thank Aleica enough for the way in which she patiently addressed all our concerns. She was very co-operative and put our mind to ease answering all our questions and providing prompt responses.

When we moved to the Twin Cities area from out of state, we needed a short term lease until we found a house. After reviewing several apartment listings, Fountain Place was one of five we choose to tour. The layouts for various units were all online and it was easy to see the listed amenities. Once we got here, we were immediately struck by the many access points to the trail and Purgatory Park Nature Reserve. We ultimately selected Fountain Place due to the two bedroom layout. The model unit was quite helpful. The building showed well, and the short term lease rate was very competitive. We liked the location and Alecia in the office answered all our questions. When we moved in, we were overall pleased with our unit. The building was cleaned several times a week, and it was quiet for the most part. We did report a broken gutter near our window and the neighbor’s broken window. Maintenance didn’t seem quite impressed with my report, but the office staff were concerned when they did their move out checklist. Still, it was never fixed when we were there. When we had an AC problem in our unit, it was fixed quickly. My only caution to folks looking to rent short term is to review the lease closely and ask about “blackout periods.” We saw in the lease that we would not be able to buy out our lease October through December. We got lucky and found a property quite quickly. We were able to buy out the rest of our lease, but we narrowly missed a blackout of August. We would not have known about this to ask, and our realtor was surprised when we mentioned it to her. We were completely upfront with Fountain Place staff that we were going to be house hunting. If you are planning on doing the same, ask before you sign.We really enjoyed our short time living at Fountain Place. It is not as expensive as many comparable apartment complexes and is quite comfortable and quiet. The adjoining trail around the nature reserve is amazing. As with any apartment, be sure to read the lease carefully and know what you’re getting into.

Claudia and Arianna are absolutely amazing in the leasing office. They helped in move in process efficiently and are ready to answer any questions during the stay. They will always go an extra mile just so you are satisfied and comfortable in your apartment. The management overall seems good. The maintenance staff is also friendly and completes request within a day or two. The community is nice and quiet with best amenities. I would recommend these apartments to anyone who likes to stays in Eden Prairie.

I love living at Fountain Place Apartments. My apartment is beautiful and I love the walking paths which are just outside my building entrance. Claudia and Arianna have been wonderful. They assisted me in the rental process after moving from my home of 25 years. The maintenance crew is professional, courteous and knowledgeable in apartment maintenance and the cleaning crew has done a great job in keeping our building clean and presentable during the winter months. I highly recommend the Fountain Place Apartments as a terrific place to live.

Everything was going great. They had great amenities, great service, excellent office workers. But then a few weeks ago I got notice that my rent was going to go up by $200 per month! I asked why and they said it’s because they are doing renovations on OTHER apartments (mine has never been renovated). When I asked if they would renovate my apartment, they said no.This is a terrible way to treat residents.

While living here for about 2 years now there has been quite a few times where kids have pulled the fire alarms and caused us to evacuate the building at odd hours of the day. There have been no contact emails from the office letting us know something is being done about this. Or reminding residents that a false fire alarm is a crime and to keep track of their kids (who keep pulling the alarms).
